the last comment of him sayin (modder) that he will not update his mod to be compatible, neither did the one who created the multi mod from what i read, and after unpacking both separately they share exactly the same files names and structure, so most definitely one will overwrite the other but thanks for the link, i will try that instead

again thank you cxx for the mod's link i downloaded it, but just have one last question in preferences there's an option for new or old images which one should i chose? the default is old, and is there any other track you hear throughout or just that depressing one that you start with? because now it's on repeat

Go with new images, they look better. FFCreations downfall need to be studied. "How to destroy a big and devoted fanbase with bad endings" FFCreations was a rising star in this ganre. Only to be basically bullied out of this community. I for one was a big fan of theres. But i will never touch a project they are involved in ever again. Because no matter how good the story is they showed how little they cared in the end. Dont bite the hand that feeds you.
Edit: I feel like i have to explain myself to the new people just discovering this game who will think im overreacting. I just saw some screenshots of the game on an old thread and remembered how pissed off i was those years ago when the half assed endings came out. I get that new fans wont get the disappointment of those who followed the updates since 2017 since you didnt have the emotional build up that we had. But let me tell you when the endings came out this thread was on fire. We were pissed and for a good reason. So i saw those screenshots and it opend a few wounds.

I used to absolutely love this game, but haven't played it since they started getting involved with the aunt. No particular reason, just got distracted. Now I don't think I want to finish the game

Many, if not the vast majority, of the games to be released here end up being embarrassingly dropped without a sound, and some people are even praising the fact that a creator deigns to stamp his game as finished, while a good quarter (or much more) of the promised content is generally scrapped or thrown away.
And far from being an isolated case, this type of trend has become the norm over time. Rejoice they say, cast off your worldly and monetary burdens for your masters on rotten Patreon.

All in all, I went from something pleasant to an almost lost memory.
And we know full well that this routine will be repeating itself again and again, regardless of the developer or the game in mind. Don't have any particular expectations and you'll save yourself some cruel disappointments, never be too quick to praise or give your money for things that are just promises, and never be too eager to take the word of an obscure stranger ready to sell you some mirages, that's always to be avoided.

You are of course right about lowering your expectations that. But damn. Mine are already as high as a termite. I agree that the game didnt keep the quality it started out with. But i still would have given the story a solid 7/10 before the endings came out. It was way above the average bull that was posted here. And then i dont know what happened. Something went wrong with the Devs. They constantly posted as "we" so i think it was multiple people. But then somewhere between the last update and the endings there was a very long pause in updates. If i remember correctly they posted something on their patreon. Something about personal reasons for the delay. And than the whole bull with the messed up endings came.
My theory back that was that the "personal reasons" were that they had a fallout with their writer. Or that the main Dev got broken up with and decided to make it everybody's problem.
