That's a very small minded way of looking at games. The point of every game on the planet from chess to skittles to Half Life VR is to create an engaging challenge, world or story for the player to explore.

Why does George RR Martin write about "tears of rain on sundrenched leather" rather than say "it's pissing it down"?

The literal only reason why game developers challenge themselves to make better looking games is because they want the game to be easier to engage with and better suit their vision, as it allows the player to become more engrossed in the fictional world. Real porn seems to be the ultimate end goal of this.

A better question would be, outside of the perfectly valid reasons of artistic choice and better ability to stage scenes, why would anyone use something less realistic all other points equal?

I'm always sad when I listen to a song and it doesn't have an original plot.

Similar beat and tempo? Lyrics? Remixes? How many songs are just newer version of some classic. Songs so similar that there are actual copyright lawsuits. Did you ever heard song that sounded exactly like some other?
Its all about originality and its hard to come up with something new and fresh since so much stuff is derivative from our previous listening/watching experience - thats why creative liberty of self-rendering is IMHO better than building something on real porn scenes. I dont say it have to be this way ALWAYS, although the format matters too.

Another bug: I went to Ashlin's house and she said she is under a curfew caused by my student-teacher meeting with her mother. Never been introduced to her mother as yet; no meeting with her as well. Never has it been mentioned before in fact.

Check your flags, make sure they match. If you are not using flags, learn what they are, and how to use them.

Using flags will stop the above panties error as well.

Seems solid, but quite buggy. Most of the stuff is already mentioned. But it is indeed nice to see some more non-sissy html games

But there is not much choice ... currently it is only triggering events and continue. There were only 1 choice up to this point and that gets you more or less submissive. And later with Alex you have no real chance to avoid being an ass to her.
And there not much content. Or it unfolds very slowly or I cant find it.

I've noticed this too. Worst is navigating a wardrobe for outfits. So much clicking. Most get around this by allowing you to save preset outfits, but still. Also these types of games can get overly grindy, yet are still enjoyable for me to a sense.

Thanks for the feedback guys, especially the ones regarding the bugs. I'm always trying to get rid of game bugs, but I come from a non developer background and I'm still learning the ropes as far as coding goes. I'm already working on fixing them and a bug fix version will be uploaded very soon.

Answer: It's about feeling like you in control of another persons choices, that is why. If a game portays this badly, it is a bad game, it's not the mediums fault.
