Answer: It's about feeling like you in control of another persons choices, that is why. If a game portays this badly, it is a bad game, it's not the mediums fault.

As for the game. There's a good base here, though it dives into full on sex scenes a bit quick for my tastes, I am clear that I am a minority on that front though. Will follow with interest. Always good to see other Twine based games coming through.
I did find on a couple of occasions not being able to sleep at night and having to back out through about 12 pages and taking another route. Mainly when I went to spend time with the neighbour thinking that might update at some point. Fixed it one time by going to the Mall where time seems to progress real fast and get sent to bed.

Yup, I hit back until before I visited and went to sleep instead. The scene doesn't seem to change on each visit anyway, so I don;t think it's meant to repeat each time you go.

I think if you upload a new version with just fixes, it might be better to use another decimal like, "v0.1.1" rather than "v0.2".

Guessing this version ends with the dinner visit/bj at Ashlyn's since there was nothing else to do in the following 3 weeks.

The game shows a bit of promise. It could definitely be better for a 0.1. placeholder highschool? Miss placeholder? him/her, his/hers, my/your mix ups. Mia calling the MC MR. Smith when you have named the MC something else. Lack of a pass time button in the menu to prevent getting stuck. The pics/gifs are too small to be able to see them very well. There isn't enough interaction between the MC and NPC's especially with his students. The MC is a teacher yet you only meet 2 students in a months time. One would think the interactions with the "undercover" cop and the girl at the bikini store would have increased the MC's perversity level but neither did. Nor did seeing them naked make the MC horny. Yet seeing a teachers panties while she bent over did make the MC horny.

Same here with an old laptop. That particular scene includes around a dozen of videos playing at the same time on a single page. Not a good idea.

Game was great up until that point. I have a old craptop that I got cause I am not nice to my laptops or headphones (if it has wires) and it had a faulty hinge design (who the fuck thought it was a good idea to put the hinges out of alignment is a fucking moron and I'll never get HP products again because that passed their QA) and my old laptop basically broke in 2 and the power cord for the monitor touched a metal hinge (the one that caused the break in the first place) and fried everything inside.

Back to the game, decent content for as early as it is but it can be a bit busy for the craptop community.

To comment on the issue regarding Ashlyn's home scene and being stuck afterwards, I believe it's an issue with the events available during the 'Night' period, where sleep is not amongst them. Should be a quick/simple fix.

EDIT: Additionally, by looking at the images, the game seems to have far more in store after that event that is inaccessible due to this issue.

EDIT II: A work around is to perform the event on a weekend, then skip the night by going into town and visiting the police station or hospital, thus moving along to the next day's morning.

Funny you should say that since the game was coded on a craptop of my very own. I always assumed I was the only one experiencing lag issues due because of my ancient hardware.

My priority right now is to make the game as playable as possible, but I can definitely understand how those small errors can be a dealbreaker to a lot of people. These types of constructive criticisms are always welcomed though.

Also during the parking lot scene there were a few instances of "Your" dialogue being attributed to Tory and a few of Tory's lines being attributed to "you".
