Did you just pay the $2 dollars? So, it seems that the $2 dollars were to unlock the patreon info about the update, but not the links (like any other game).

Kinda, but not really. There's something very particular regarding this dev: it seems that if you already contributed 17 dollars in the past, you can actually get the new update for only $2 dollars (just being an active contributor) and you don't need to pay the 17 dollars again and again for each update, like the other games. The problem is that the info wasn't public.we've been bamboozled

It appears that way. So theoretically if I pledge another $15, I'll have access to the Beta. But I think I'm going to ask before I get ahead of myself. I can also ask about previous pledges stacking on the $17 minimum.

Considering the absurd amount of time this update take, it'll be very satisfactory see this leak quicly just to piss of the devs.

Even if it were to get leaked, you wouldn't be getting the full game till beta release is over.
