I should point out that the release schedule was kinda screwed earlier on, because I wasn't sure how well it'd be received, and I didn't have the tools to continue. I had to wait for a while before I could get a PC that was actually capable of rendering the game, then I had to learn Daz, then I made 270 renders that I had to throw out and redo because I wasn't happy with them, and so on. I'm trying to keep releases more or less bimonthly now, though.

Actually, here's some stuff that could be interesting to people - some of the bad renders I did for Chapter Two, before getting rid of them. Most were way too light or way too dark. I hadn't figured out lighting yet. And I didn't like the environment models I was using.. Originally the Barrons lived in a house, but the more I thought about it, the more I liked the idea of them living in a cramped apartment above their store. It felt weird to have them financially struggling, and living in five bed, two bath house.

And their store was originally this giant, sparsely decorated building, which felt totally at odds with the cozy local bookstore vibe I was going for. And Ashe's scene originally ended differently, with her leaving your condo that night, instead of in the morning. But, I felt like players who pursued her "love" route deserved a reward, in the form of a cozy morning with the blonde cutie.

Chapter Two was truly a giant comedy of errors on my end, which utterly boned the release schedule.

First of all, NeonGhosts, I want to tell you that I really love this VN, even though I have only played one path (Good Guy), and my choices have led me to exactly zero optional sex scenes. I have only seen the non-optional bj with Nicki, because it's fun. I know that I could have made choices on this path that led to sex, but I decided to not pressure any of the ladies in any way, shape or form. Of course, I will replay with more 'push', and also try the other paths too.

Second, any comments I make later in this post are to be taken as my opinion only. You are the creative genius, I'm just a user here.

I only have one negative comment to make, which was first noted by ename144 and addressed mostly by you already

I would prefer that there be no in-game pregnancy. I see others requesting it, just wanted to get my vote in. I have no problems with pregnancies in an epilogue or some-such thing.

Here is a big one for other posters. The MC does not make any permanent decisions. Only the player does. If I'm playing the good path, the findom and evil paths do not exist. I have seen posts where people argue that because they played the evil path, that means that it's part of the game canon, even for the good path. Not true.

WTF is Ganguro? WTF is GDP? I have seen posts referencing these and have no clue what is being talked about.

Please don't lose the tats ... ever.

Brent has to die ... slowly ... No, slower that. Oh, and it must be really, really REALLY painfully.

This last one is self-evident, but I'm gonna say it anyway. Nicki is best girl.

Aw, not even Ashe?! I know you have to choose to stop her from leaving to initiate sex, but she's way into it. Even Gabby will make a move on you if you push her down, then back off when she's nervous. Assuming she likes you enough, anyway.

"Genius" is being far too kind, but thank you. As for the spoiler.. Shooting Nicki down will temporarily put you on the friendship route, so you won't get the love or submission opening scene for Chapter Four. But, you'll get a choice early in the chapter to remain friends, push her for sex, or ask her on a date, which can change your relationship variables. It's my intention to routinely let players move from one path to another, assuming it makes sense. Moving from friendship/neutrality to love or submission will be pretty easy in most instances, though.

Hah! Ganguro was (is?) a 90s Japanese subculture/trend, where girls would use spray-tan and blonde hair to achieve a certain look. I always thought they were just trying to look like Paris Hilton, but Wiki says it was intended to be a rejection of traditional cultural beauty standards - i.e. light skin, dark hair, subdued make-up.

GDP is the acronym for a porn production that quickly rose to prominence for featuring a lot of girl-next-door types who'd never appeared in porn, suddenly shooting hardcore. After a while, girls began to come forward with stories accusing the producers/talent of a variety of abuses. These ranged from girls being misled about the porn's distribution (Some were told they'd only be distributed on DVDs to private collectors), to being told they'd be doing modeling and then physically/verbally harassed into agreeing to shoot porn (while stranded in a foreign country), to being sexually assaulted off-camera.

A sad story that ended with at least one guy in jail, another currently a fugitive from the FBI, and a lot of girls being targeted for harassment after their names wound up all over the internet, alongside the scenes they shot. I think it's an interesting story, which shows how quickly and easily someone can be induced into doing sex work, when they ordinarily wouldn't. Which naturally intersects perfectly with the game, and the idea of sex, money, power, and desperation colliding.

Glad you're enjoying Nicki! And no worries about the tats, I'm liking them more with each new image I make of her. I'd still like to eventually have her get something that's a little more her style, but that's a ways off. The girl just got a job, can't be spending it all on tattoo cover-ups!

No worries; patches for games on this site are always on the first page main post, down towards bottom under "DOWNLOADS"; should be under either PATCH: or EXTRA: for this game it's patch, but I think I've seen some where it was under extra.... I think maybe fan-made patches are considered extra while official ones are considered patches? Maybe that's the distinction.

I was slightly miffed at how easy the MC seems to forgive Nicky as the good guy.
And since I like the playing the good guy MC aproach I was hopeing we could sulk a little longer with her to rack up her guilt more.
As she did still use the MC (ok he got a consolation prize I know but) she didn't intend that at first she was just gonna just take his cash for her dipshit boyfreind.

And although I give her some sympathy for what she went through.
She did still only turned up at his door after she became so so desprate she had no other choice.
Meaning She was still playing on his sympathy and feelings for her i hopes it was enough for the MC not to turn her away.

So I'm wondering is it mean of me to think that as a good guy and since he has given her a job that keeps her close.
He should totally freind zone Nicky for a while show a little interest then instantly just back off again maybe a bit of flirting with her but never to much the ocasional inocent'ish body contact now and then.
But at the same time letting her know about all his other girls He's seeing.
And how he's having fun spending time with them and maybe rubbing it in her face a just a little. (In a this could of been you kind of thing).
Hopefully it might make her jealous enough to start making moves on the MC herself?.
Or is that Just too mean?.

There is the possibility to do something similar to this. Bypass her shower sex scene, and send her back to her room when she approaches you. That'll put you on her friendship path. From there, you can keep her as your buddy/assistant, either temporarily or in perpetuity. We'll also get to see a little of her jealous side come out, early in Chapter Four.

In my opinion, there are really 4 routes you can take. Good Guy, Evil Guy, Findom Guy and the secret route, where you say all the right things like the good guy, but you really want to get all the sex you can, even if you have to 'push' or even slightly force the lady into stuff she might be uncomfortable with. I believe that findom stands for FINancial DOMination, and I have never seen it used outside of this thread. Haven't played the bad guy route yet, so thanks for the subdivision. Perhaps findom has two paths as well.

Yeah, the findom route was actually requested fairly early on in the game-making process. It is basically a hybrid of the nice guy and bad guy routes where you are only interested in using your generosity to extract sexual favors from the women. You aren't good or bad really you just want to be a sugar daddy. At least at this point. It might get darker down the line as you ask them to do more and more to continue to get your generosity. It is kind of interesting because in kinky circles it is usually the women being the dom in a findom relationship demanding more funds from their paypigs for ever-diminishing returns. A typical example is seen in the HBO show Euphoria with the character of Kat starting out as a camgirl and then finding out she can make more money by topping lonely dudes and extracting their cash.
