Now that is a interesting question. He does seems to go for that energy.
Nah it's not that odd at all. There are trans guys who are feminine as well as trans girls who are butch/masc. The interesting thing is that being gender non conforming can cause some trans people to question if they're really trans.

For Mason I could see him presenting either way. It seems like he's comfortable presenting feminine but I'm curious how much is do to him just enjoying feminine things or if it's due to trying to appeal to the mc.or how much is it due to what he had to do to survive on the streets.

yeah tho I will say the branching of that scene can be a bit weird too. As if you dont go with a corruption / or rape option you think it's all her doing and idea. But it's her abusive BF and she downplays how much money he wanted her to get out of the MC. But that part of the game is going to get a rework.

I actually didn't like Nicki either cause of that. Then when she comes back later and explains everything I had a change of heart and felt bad for her and don't really fault her all that much. She just made a bad mistake and was trying not to take advantage of the MC anymore after that even tho she totally could of when she was in a real bad spot.
I agree completely. Every good story has an element of redemption, and for me that’s Nicki. Now the question of how this all plays out over time is what’s interesting to me. I’ve positioned her as the primary love interest, with the rest of the girls as secondary. So what I’m hoping to see is Nicki becoming willing to share the MC, while remaining his primary partner.

HE was beaten for the "crime" of being trans, which caused permanent traumatic brain injury. That's why he stutters, that's why he has problems with his memory, and is a big part of why he is homeless.
Yeah kinda forgot what she been trough tho, i dont really interesting about her character before but would be different now.

I think Mason is okay with using the femboy look, but anything further than that is pretty much just him being forced to fullfil a role as a homeless sex worker trying to not die from hunger on from some hate crime.

Seems you also forgot Mason is a he.:WeSmart::HideThePain:

I really wish some of you would lighten up a little when someone in passing describes a character in a porn game that looks like a girl, is shaped like a girl and is fucked like a girl, a girl. As long as they aren't aggressively screaming "SHE IS A *WOMAN*!!!" or calling Mason and by extension all trans people mentally ill, it really isn't worth turning it into a row every single time.

Depending on how you play FiN, Mason can be a female shaped person that Guy calls a girl. It's not that unresonable that sometimes people refer to them as female in outside conversations. You don't have to hate trans people or need reeducating just because you're straight and prefer to call the person you screwed in an adult game a woman when that's basically an option in the game anyway.

EDIT: Apologies if I'm throwing fuel on the fire here btw.

I'm not trying to bring drama either but as far i know we free to call her whatever we want in this Mason case. I remember even mod saying that, so that is just what i do. But still someone is upset about it.

We are free to call Mason whatever but people seem to just want to cause arguments about it so just say whatever but don't respond either way. it's for the best.

You are all free to call Mason anything you want.
You can choose to honor his wish to be referred to as his chosen gender, or you can ignore his wishes completely, choose the dark route, perpetuate his abuse, and mislabel him for your own comfort.
That is entirely your choice.

Outside the novel you can also choose to call him what you like too.
If it makes you more comfortable labeling Mason something other than how he sees himself, you have that ability.
Along those same lines, should you make the choice to ignore someone's gender, simply because it makes you feel better, and for some reason you won't respect someone else's wishes, then it might help you understand if you experienced it from the other side.

So, from now on I'll call you jack. You may have given yourself some other distinction, how you wanted to be addressed and seen in social interactions, but that doesn't matter. You look like a jack to me, regardless of what you might choose or prefer, so I'll call you jack.
If it bothers you, remember that you've already stated that how you see someone is more important than how they see themselves.
Which means you're just going to accept it, right? That's what you expect others to do, so it should be okay for you too.
I mean, you could argue or disagree, but you wouldn't want to cause any drama.

Looking forward to chapter 10, the continuation of character storylines, progressing into the next big phase of the story, and seeing how we can help Guy handle everything that's thrown at him.
Have a good one.

yea the mason debate aint that serious, its just a game that we use to get off, not some trailblazing piece of literature meant to inspire debates
I don't think I've actually jacked off to this yet. Maybe once or twice to Ashe's roleplay scene but mostly this is a game I play for the story.

there is whats truly real and there is delusions , can we tell schizophrenic peaple what they see is real , just because they have imagined it ?...because its not....what if dark guy made mason pregnant ? you would still call him a "he" ? if my name is something else and you call me "jack" thats just a delusion...its all a question of whats a fact and whats not , and being gay is a mental illness...that is sadly getting normalized in the west as a question of the individuals freedom...

It's easy to preach online, but alone in the real world people are suddenly more respectful and less likely to act out. Now if they have a crowd of like minded people they normally become violent to defend their ideology. This goes for both sides of any debate, right or wrong because we all understand that ultimately what is right and wrong is what's agreed upon. And not everyone will ever see eye to eye. Therfore people impose their will and present it as fact regardless of fact. This is the passive aggressive form of war called politics, and we all know a politicians job is to lie.
