are they planned to be mostly linear? or can we expect to have dark and light path in them just like in the main game?

But anyway, I pretty much agree with your opinion. If this game was being developed by a team, there wouldn't be a problem. But it's only one person doing it, and it doesn't even seem to be his main job. So obviously the updates are spaced out over time (although I have to say less than you'd expect, honestly). And if a character you like doesn't come out in an update, you can easily spend half a year without content you like for the game. Or even if it does come out, maybe you expected more content for that character, and the update disappoints you.
Not to mention that the more characters you have to manage, the more complex the story becomes, and the harder it is to keep it coherent. And that also burns out the developer, especially if it's just one person.
Obviously the developer has the last word. It's his creation after all. But honestly, I'm increasingly clear that too many characters are detrimental to the type of development these games require. In my opinion, it's better to focus on a few main characters, and on shorter, more organized stories. It's less work, and it doesn't hurt the quality of the work. You can always do spin-offs later with other characters. Or side stories, or whatever. Sometimes it's better to save a good idea for later, than to get bogged down in it.
Anything I'm involved in, I try to keep the "main" LIs to no more than 5, unless I'm part of a team with multiple writers.... I do usually have a few "sides" as well, who aren't critical to the story, and usually bring them in near the start so that the player has some... outlet.. other than the main LIs so that the story doesn't progress too fast. In my experience, any more than five, at least in a story with choices, and especially one with actual branches, and you are entering nightmare territory. Kudos to Neon for being able to keep track of it all and keep things flowing pretty smoothly so far. Although I am starting to feel some of the girls are being somewhat neglected, it's still one of my favorite ongoing games and I will keep coming back for more until it is finished, or Neon screws the pooch by biting off too much

The latter. The stuff that takes place in the present, with MC, will be just like the main chapters. Just smaller!
Probably end of this next week. Dev said that it's the largest update so far and future updates will be smaller to avoid this kind of delay in the future.

I don't really consider it a big gap between updates. I mean some of my favourite games only get updated once a year.

It's really not that hard. You just do the best you can, and if you make a mistake, you say "sorry," correct yourself, and then move on with the conversation. The more you talk with your trans folks (family, friends, etc.), the easier it gets. It's really the easiest of things, and it can literally save a person's life.
Interact with trans folk like normal people, because that's what they are, really. It's OK to make mistakes, just don't do it on purpose, and apologize and correct yourself when you need to. Most of all, don't be scared just because they are different, because they aren't, really.

I'll take that as an honest question; it really depends on who you ask. Some trans people would say yes; some would say it makes you bi; but probably most would say it doesn't matter. Because in the end, you get to define your sexuality for yourself. If you think of yourself as straight, you're straight. If you think of yourself as bi, pan, demi, ace, areo, or gay, then you are. It's not like these things are strictly defined boxes. It's a broad, multidimensional spectrum, and you can be anywhere on that spectrum. In the end it is a journey, and each person gets to travel the path that feels right to them. No one is trying to force you to be someone you aren't, they just want to be respected for who they are.

How does having sex with Mason make you gay? They're 100% female all they did was change their name.. It would be like saying there's a person you know who is a guy but he gave himself a female name and having sex with him and considering it as straight sex.. It just isn't.

Must say, this is my first post in this thread. This project's pretty good (in terms of characters, plot, choices between being an upstanding guy or a downright scumbag due to possessing that wealth). I do wonder what's next in store in terms of story, if somewhere along the road the protagonist is considering to have offspring (with either Nicky, Ashe, Risa, Brittany, Viola, Gaby, etc) and so on. Overall, I like it and I tip my hat to the dev, keep up the good work. And in a few days more the new update should be coming out, we should see how a certain blond-haired character runs away or gets the beating he's had coming for a long time.

Hey, hey friends! Hope this week is treating you well. Fall is officially here in my neck of the woods. The seasons are changing, the days are shorter, and I've had to retrieve my box of sweaters from the closet. It's the type of weather that makes a fella just want to hibernate. But, I've got stuff to do!
To that end, I'm still just chugging away at the last batches of renders I still need. But, I've been plugging in renders as I go, and fixing variables, so I won't have a whole mess of script work to do at the end. All that said, I feel relatively confident setting the release schedule for Chapter 10.

Well.. Nicki, Gabby, Mason, Viola, Brittani, Madison, and a couple other familiar faces will make appearances. You might get an offer you can't refuse from an aspiring entrepreneur, take a waif on a shopping trip, check in on a spicy webcam stream, and extricate yourself from that gaudy Hawaiian shirt you've been trapped in. You'll meet a few new faces, edge closer to unraveling a mystery or two, and scratch a few things off of Guy/MC's to-do list.
All in all, I think it's one of my more ambitious releases to date. So, I hope everyone digs it!
