Anyways, now to something actually on-topic. I am so looking forward to the Mason content next update... what a cruel spot to end the last update! You can't rush excellence though, so I'm eagerly waiting for it to come. Also I really really can't wait for Lucien to get his comeuppance. That piece of shit deserves all the bad shit coming his way. However, gotta deal with Brent first... will be interesting to see how the opening scene of the next update will play out.

I don't know why, but I don't like it. Not that I don't adore Mason but it just doesn't look right. It's like you lost a bet or something. You need the Fry picture back pronto. If not that, at least pick the Mason pic with the kitty ears.

In a word, yes.
The patched game might get a little uncomfortable if you take those options (though they are all avoidable), I worry the story will have trouble balancing the stakes with the large LI roster down the line, and I wish the MC was a little more of a blank slate at times. But those aren't fatal flaws, and overall it's a very high quality game. In particular the dialog is excellent, the main cast is very engaging, and the core idea of exploring how the MC chooses to use his newfound wealth is a powerful one.
IMHO this game is certainly worth playing.
Kind of hard to escape fetishes when it's a porn game really. That plus every dev probably bases their characters around what they themselves are into or at least not turned off by. And fact is most guys that wanna see pussy are looking for women women or pre-op trans men, not post-op trans women, whereas most guys who want to see cock are looking for pre-op trans women or other men, not post-op trans men.
Also, I think most trans people don't get bottom surgery? So, in that regard, it's pretty representative or w/e.
But I do think it would be interesting to see a fully transitioned character from a writing pov, just don't see many players being into them from a LI perspective. I don't know, maybe I'm off there, just a hunch. And that potentially eats into the dev's income, not to mention sanity from the bitching, so unless they're fully committed to that character, it just isn't going to happen is how I figure it.
Anyways, back on-topic, that was one reason why I was hoping for a trans woman character because most of the games that have them just have bleh writing. I don't really see fetishization as a problem, but it does usually make the writing worse. It would've been nice to see a well-written one for once. But alas, it isn't to be. At least there's Mason, next best thing in that regard, for me anyways. I could see Neon having at least a scene or two where Mason dawns a strap-on or prosthetic or something for some gay play. Not to fuck the MC lol, but just to go with the whole "I'm a man" thing, especially during anal scenes.
