The reworked version changes and fleshes out the prologue, mostly. It didn't yet fully catch up with the original, but it should get there with the next update. In the meantime, you can play it so you have a partially completed play through to continue, when it happens. Or can wait for the next release and play it in one go, if you'd prefer that.

i was just trying to explain why i think most people have hate for remakes in general. i do think that if you ignore all the remake stuff from the recent updates the amount of new content would have been disappointing, so its not like the remake stuff isnt slowing the progress of the game. overall, i think its a bit early to make harsh judgments about the dev yet, but i can understand peoples concerns, and i do stand by the idea of finish first, remake later.

Especially since we see so many remakes never ending (especially on this forum) that we already know pertinently that we will never see the end. 90% of the time, the remake just leaves more time for the developer to not really continue making updates, while continuing to pump money from his donors. It’s almost become a trend here.
I want to play some more, but I really should get to bed, lol.
