Yeah, agreed. The Dev has stipulated several times he will only consider animation after it is completed if I remember correctly.
Not speaking of this dev and why or why not there aren't any, for a lot of dev's it's not worth the time and effort as for some making just one animation could take hours upon hours and if you've got a bunch, it could take weeks to do. And also, the amount of time if an animation gets messed up and have to re-do it.

Honestly in a lot of games anyway the animations are jank and not even any good.

That is true. Rather have well done renders and angles than shitty animations. When done well, however, it does help with immersion.

The game currently has a lot of content and of course i agree with the player base to some extent about the rework middle of the game.as og players want the story to move forward but since he is making the rework quicker he will catch up to the current game state with the rework sooner is what i deduce,so lets all give him sometime to make the game look good

In fact, depending on the dev ability, experience & time, animations can go either way. With that said, I agree that maybe it's preferable to finish the whole main arc and then consider a rework with animations. Even so, based solely on my player experience with both animated and static avn's there are many levels of animations techniques that could be applied and wouldn't suck.

The remake rework is in preparation of a Steam release, which most of the times brings in more funds than the retards 'it will lose', that had more than 2 years to get ready for said remake. I've complained multiple times about cast creep and pacing delaying the plot moving forward, but this decision is not a reason to fear abandonment, quite the opposite, might be the best way to guarantee the game's development.

Seeing so many old accounts that should know better what a successful Steam release does for a game's popularity in our genre is omega cringe. What can you do, clearly their blood isn't going where it should while playing these games...
Hopefully, both of us (you and me) we'll still be here in 5 years. That day I will be pointing you out what you wrote here in case our pals with defective blood circulation will have dared to complain that this game never went anywhere.

(n.b.: I'm 1000% sure that I will remind you this)

I agree.
When it's done well, it's great.
I crack up watching the Janky ones where the girl is going down on a guy, and it looks like she's gagging and ready to puke. :ROFLMAO:

I like the game a lot. THKS, Neonghosts. :sneaky:

I dont understand the unnecessary hate,The game looks much better after the rework,
Because it's a waste of talent and effort, and based on past examples it often ends with the game never being finished. Unless he really needed to do this to make it acceptable on Steam or something it's really wasteful.

I get that argument, and normally I agree but in this case I'll give Neon the benefit of the doubt. It's his first, full, game and Chapter 1 has been bugging him for a long time - mainly the art but some things he should have done differently in the story as well. Now he has it the way he wanted and is ready to move on to Season 2 (starts in chapter 11) without being annoyed by Chapter 1. If a few months from now he starts saying "You know what? I'm really unhappy about chapter 6 as well..." then we can start throwing things at him.

hello
If i am understanding well, 0.73 is a complete remake and all my old save are out.
They give me a crash , even the oldest ones.
Need a start a new game, even it's a new story, it's not funny.
I started this game in 2023 august , not funny at all to restart

Because it's not just animation. There has to be a good scenario. Some games have 1 animated scene for a sex scene and are done, while it should be a good long scene with dialogue, which Neon does, thankfully.

Not literally, I hope. :ROFLMAO:
I know that these games are usually created by newcomers to AVN creation, and that's great.
Everything is a learning process; remakes or going back and making improvements are expected.

The entitled members who have no experience in creating AVNs need to stop badmouthing them for it.

Edit:
Umm... If "affection" is spelled wrong as it is in this code from the script, does it affect the game? Just curious. :sneaky: I know very little about code.

It is already close to being caught up anyway...it's in a much better state. And the girls could cause a Steam problem....

Is the taboo patch on the front page empty?
Yes, it's an activator, the game is just looking for a file called "patch" to activate the content.
