If i am understanding well, 0.73 is a complete remake and all my old save are out.
They give me a crash , even the oldest ones.
Need a start a new game, even it's a new story, it's not funny.
I started this game in 2023 august , not funny at all to restart

Anyway back to the game. Just wanted to point out how i completely missed Ryan Barron's card on Trevor's desk at the dinner. Replaying games really help with getting those kind of details.

It is already close to being caught up anyway...it's in a much better state. And the girls could cause a Steam problem....

Pretty much. Neon expects to have a complete build to high tier supporters by the end of july. Plus the integration of the short stories into the game via the main menu.

Who said there aren't improvements? We still have spent several hours of our too short, too busy days to keep up with the updates. The game required already once to start again from 0, and it was more hours wasted. Now, it's beyond ridiculous.

The western VN world is getting toxic as fuck with this malpractices. Unfortunately we are so used to be unresponsive consumers that we no longer even drop service/products when they became inadeguated.

I haven't played the update yet, but for a remake it was finished pretty fast. I am so used to games like summertime sage being stuck in remake hell for years.

I know that these games are usually created by newcomers to AVN creation, and that's great.
Everything is a learning process; remakes or going back and making improvements are expected.

The entitled members who have no experience in creating AVNs need to stop badmouthing them for it.

Also, the people that complain about reworking a chapter would lose their minds following most creative processes. If you're writing a novel, or making a film, or even coding software the number of reworks, re-edits etc is way higher than it is for AVNs. The first thing you create, with a novel or screenplay for example, is the rough draft - which is going to have very little resemblance to the finished product. The entire thing will be rewritten from the beginning at least twice, and then tinkered with a bunch after that.

Do you realize that you release a movie/book/mainstream game AFTER you did all of this? And when early patches of a mainstream game make you loose your saves people go nuts and pretend refunds? Anyone who's already decoded this nonsense please chime in for us who are apparently slow on the uptake.

FIRST......I'm NOT here shitting on this dev or this game (which I LOVE). I hope people stick around and he gets through this unscathed and continues this great game, but god damn it this is frustrating...and remakes do not have a good track record for completion.

I remember being told that it was only gonna be one update. He was gonna rework ONE chapter and then back to new content...thta it wouldn't take more than a year to get back to new stuff...how much shit i got for being upset that we weren't going to get new stuff for so long........now he's added new and remastered material to chpt 2 and 3...just like i was given so much shit for saying he would do...so this is now the second update and he's remastered 3 out of 10.5 chapters. IF he's actually done with chapters 4-7 and isn't going to remaster anyting else there.....and that's a BIG if...I KNOW he has said he's done remaking things, but he also said it was only going to be ONE chapter...so yeah...IF he done remaking thing, then it could still be a relatively quick remaster...as remasters go...but it's STILL gonna be AT LEAST 3 (1 more) updates with no story progression. This could easily end up being well over a year of not moving forward...hell it's been like 8 or 9 months already and Dev has only re-released 66.5% (7/10.5) of what was already finished. I hope he's actually done remastering and just has to catch the coding up so that it flows together without errors and is able to release the full caught up version by end of July to high tier patrons like he says, but that's pretty questionable.

Depends on what you mean, the Special edition, that 30 years later people still want the original and are livid with Lucas for its suppression, or the shitty Disney requel. Where JJ Abrams remade Star Wars as the Force Awakens. Bad mystery box and Luke Skywalker as a worthless maguffin. Then Rian Johnson comes in makes him Jake Skywalker kills the mofo off. Sealing the coffin shut for Star Wars.

Greedo shooting first as far as remakes go is not a good memory.

The only thing ridiculous here is your nonsense rant. You are playing a game under development (basically the same as a early acess AA/AAA game) and then complaining about issues with savefiles when new variables need to be added as the game gets updated.
And worse than that you are doing it while getting said updates for free.
