Again? No. If you started a new game with the Chapter 1 remake I released a couple months ago, load your save and off you go.
There's new Ashe stuff explicitly designed to deeper her relationship with the player.I just want some more Ashe content
I'm working on the logistics of that. The file size is getting unwieldy, but in order to carry everything over, I'd have to really look at every variable which may be necessary in the future, and then set up persistent variables that could easily contain all the various statuses. Which isn't easy. The path of least resistance would be to just keep building on the one big file, and for platforms like Steam, GOG, etc. make it available as DLC.
Honestly? I'm not super interested in it. I enjoy the writing and art side of things, and tracking minutiae is annoying enough when I need it to make the game work. Never say never, though. At the moment I'm just focused on getting the next chapter completed, and the four remaining Season One chapters folded into the existing structure.
I'm a big believe in not half-assing things, and if I tried to do Daz animations now, they'd be half-assed. That's an entirely different skillset I'd need to learn, while also doing active development. As I've mentioned before, my day job requires 60+ hours a week from me, and I still try to have something of a life while juggling dev work. But, here are some AI animations I played around with. Maybe someone will train a LoRA based on Daz Studio figures, and revolutionize the way adult devs do animation. Still a little ways off from that now, though.

Yup, rewriting a chapter has more in common with writing a new chapter than anything else. So you're still putting in work, but the project doesn't progress.
Now to be clear, I don't code. I don't make games. In my experience with other things, sometimes when you're about to reach the end of a project, for example a story, suddenly the ending falls flat because of things you've set up at the start. And so the only way to finish a project is to get back to the start, fix shit, and now you can do the ending. I personally wish for this project to succeed and if Neon can get it done through remakes, then great. But yeah. I'm worried.
That being said, I have to be fair to the dev. I just skimmed the remade chapters and they look good. More sex than before, which is better, and better quality, which is even better. But yeah. Kinda short and it obviously redoes the start so it won't progress the story with the characters, which is what I'd have wanted. Kissing and petting is nice, but we started this adventure years ago, let's reach the dick in pussy point with the rest of the main cast.
If you didn't do the remade chapter 1 the new Nikki scene is a new interpretation, it looks and flows differently so it's kinda a new scene. We also get a couple completely new scenes. I thought the sex scene with Ashe was unaltered but it seems like there are new variations.
Another update without continuing the story, oh well. Probably time to give up hope for this one.

I think it could be cool if she calls us up and makes plans right on her 18th birthday with us, then it can became a nice evening where some fun could ensue if we so choose.

At this point I'm just hitting the ignore button for anyone who complains about the update/rework (not people who have issues with the content, just the ones who complain about the rework happening at all - I've had enough of people crying because they're not getting free stuff fast enough.)

Okay, I won't bring up the topic of remakes, after all there was new content here, although I had to replay the whole game for it (just in case). Hmm, maybe of course it's just my imagination because I can't tell such things by eye, but it feels like the new added scenes have worse textures than the old ones, well, they turned out a little more crooked in terms of physics than usual...
There's a new girl added who speaks Portuguese and the text isn't translated. But that's not a bug, it's part of the plot and the protagonist doesn't understand what she's saying either.

After playing through some of the remake, the whiplash of seeing the younger model has made the MC look even older to me.
