So, Wren's story was originally going to be kind of a springboard for Mason's story. Mason was going to have seen something that made Guy want to track him down, but in order to do that, he'd need Wren's trust. So, Guy could befriend/romance/corrupt Wren, making his way to Mason. But when I started writing Wren, she just didn't really come alive for me. I couldn't find that thing to really connect me to her. I liked the idea of her doing what Guy does (charity work) but on a shoestring budget, and in a much more focused manner. But as I thought more about what that would look like, it just didn't seem overly pressing.

In the end, I simplified Mason's story a bit, which rendered Wren's a bit moot. Now she's more of a supporting cast member for Ashe's story. That said, I've said before that I think, when the game is finished, it'd be a lot of fun to go back and add scenes for side characters, creating a path for them. I still think some of the scenes I had planned for her, could be kind of fun.
  • Guy volunteering at her food pantry, and meeting more people who are struggling. A lot of potential for corruption content, but also for developing a love path as Guy sees Wren's selflessness in action.
  • Wren checking in on Mason, making sure everything is on the up-and-up at Guy's studio.
  • Guy photographing Wren, and choosing to obscure or highlight her disability.
  • Wren folding her organization into FiN, for good or ill.
The mini-games are in fact canon. A Slave to Desire (Alex's game) provides a little background on her that will soon become relevant. Not super important, but it flavors the world a bit. Blue Valentine (Pepper's game) is pretty big for her character, in a way that a lot of people seem to have missed entirely. I've got them folded into the version of Season 1 I'm rebuilding, but if you'd rather check them out now, they're in the pinned post of my SubStar. You can also find all my text stories, which are also canon and help provide some background info on Viola, Ashe, Madison, and Isabella.

I mean, they went to school together with Gabby, so they probably know each other from that, but ALSO, Brittani is getting ready to re-audition for the movie, which, iirc, requires a Russian accent. Who better as a dialect coach than Viola, who is known to the MC, who probably suggested the connection.

In the post with that picture the dev is talking about the montage he was making, so I am assuming they meet at some point in the new update and become friends and that (as I imagin) is part of a montage where they are chatting on video chat. That was my interpratation of that image. But it's had to say for sure since that image is from something which is a sneak peek so hasn't happened yet.

When Gabby described the kind of girl who would shop at the Posh Pit, she basically described Brittani. It wouldn't be unusual for her to have met Viola even if they don't have classes together, but that isn't out of the realm of possibility since all three girls have an interest in studying the arts.

There's also that little bitch who works at the store, who is Jamie's friend or whatever and who has interacted with Brittani before. Brittani could've been paying her a visit, either alone or with Jamie, and they'd run into Viola that way.

Huh, you know I never realized how many damn LIs are involved in the arts! Brit = acting, Gabby = drawing/painting, Viola = music, Pepper = writing. And then there's Ashe, who works for an art museum and is going to be working within Brit's movie, so she's involved with art. Interesting. Mason's the only LI involved in STEM (and he's a homeless prostitute lol). Where's our stem chicks, Neon!?

Oh, you mean Tessa. Viola's bratty co-worker at the clothing store. It'd be interesting to see the protagonist dealing with her in the future.

This is valid. Even Tessa seems to be an amateur photographer (non-canonically?) and Brittani's mom probably does macrame or something. I doubt either one of them can do math. There is still hope for Guppy, though, if we ever find out what her hobbies are other than swimming and bitchcraft.
