Huh, I was a brony from a short period of time, during 2013-2016, and I don't remember any big projects in the fandom beyond musical videos with ponies, fanfics, and SFM porn animations with a really good quality. I would say this is the first big game among the bronies, although due to my short time in the fandom I might be completely wrong. And this is the first game of the developer too? My interest is growing, I'll make sure to lower my expectations with this one. Nevertheless, after the pleasant experience I had with Unveiling The Unknown, I have hopes with this game too.

Attempt to provide a list where you can find some games (note that harem alone removes already a lot, you may switch for tags you like, but generally dont add too much). Nephelym sure is bigger and can adept to your wants quite dynamic.
Besides there is a whole forum just for recommendations and you can search in that forum only too on stuff like furry, monsters or whatever. It also depends on what you like, if you dont give like any infos you may will get totally wrong ones.
Yes, they count. And actually, I think I played some of those mods before leaving the fandom! I remember that iconic Fluttershy image without eyes and some kind of wheel with spikes in her neck; if my memory doesn't fail, that image was precisely from one of those mods for Amnesia.

So you have a gender changing spell, a futa spell, strapons, but you didn't add a single scene of genderswapped MC getting penetrated, would probably be something Augusta (futa) or Penny (strapon) would propose, and Melody would've proposed pegging for sure.

I due to the lack of males and the abundance of females is the in games lore reason why they wouldn't do that. Like maybe to a female but not the other way around
