Unfortunately, there are some significant signs for no further continuation of this game.
On devs patreon site his last post may give us a little hope a least for the devs' motivational spirit to pick it up again
(fingers still crossed for that!), but that was from April...
So, it might be going into this pityful direction

It's stuck in deadly loop. In order to attract significantly more supporters, it needs to be expanded a lot. In order to be expanded a lot, it needs to have significantly more supporters.

If you read some older Patreon posts, author's vision was to do this for living, but got nowhere near it being possible. Already blew some saving on getting started, and seeing how that went, probably won't be doing it again soon. Also mentioned having family, so dedicating too much free time to the game and hoping that it will eventually succeed, is not so easy.
