I haven't been able to work as much as I would have liked on the game these last few weeks and the next few weeks will probably be similar. Unfortunately, this means I will not be able to make a release in December (I have paused billing for December). And since there's still quite a lot of work to do, I really can't say when the next release will be ready.

Happy Holidays!
Just wanted to take the opportunity to wish you all a happy holiday. I imagine it will be a different holiday this year for a lot of people, but I hope you will stay safe and be able to enjoy it anyway.
I will be cleaning out the office space I have rented for two years next week (feels a little sad, actually), and move all my equipment home. Since the whole family will be either working or studying from home for at least the next month, it means I will have zero opportunity to work on the game during that time. We'll just have to see when I can get back to it (and in what capacity, since I will start working a full-time day job soon). Naturally, I will keep pausing the billing. As I feared, I didn't get much work done in the last few weeks either, so the next release is still quite a long way off.
How do you win the soakfest? I can get through the first 2 rounds easy enough but trying to soak 3 people with 5 shots seems pretty much impossible.

That's how i got my points... are you talking about the bug that sometimes happens where you can't reload your gun? it's happened to me a few times causing me to restart.

take your time but i realy hope you continue this as its one of my fav games so far, great character design!
I have a lot of sympathy towards the Dev. Seems like he really wanted this to work. I think devs need to understand the market though. You are not going to make a living in the adult game space by making a Unity game, with very few exceptions. The Adult gaming community practically demands Ren'py. I'm not going to go through the pros and cons of each but it's just the reality of the situation. There's a lot of people on here that simply won't even download a game if they see Unity is the engine.
That said, I do love this game and hope I can have the opportunity to support the Dev in the future. It's possible that a Ren'py remake would open it to a wider audience but if the Dev has committed to Unity then I fully support him. Just hope he can finish it at some point..

The main problem is not Unity, it's more the game aiming to be, well, game. It doesn't sound as terrible thing. But don't forget that half of this "gaming" community is just looking for quick fap (and would be better off with regular porn), and even those that don't, seem to prefer VNs. And I get it, I'm leaning to that too. Partially because I'm getting lazy, I guess. But it's also affected by development model.
I'd love a game like this, with free roaming, stats grinding, and everything. But ideally a game, as whole game, not tiny piece now and then. The real fun is when you get into it and keep going. But you can't do that when you get only a bit at time. You hit the end before even warming up. A month later with new update (and that's usually unrealistically optimistic) you barely remember what you wanted to do. It sucks. And it sucks with VNs too, only with them it's slightly more palatable, because you don't need to remember too many details, just vaguely what the story was about, and continue reading.
It's nothing against developer personally, I understand that a single person or small team funded only by donations don't have a choice. But it's quite unfortunate and doesn't help with getting support.
And Unity vs. Ren'Py, yeah, that's a factor too. But it's the gaming community being stupid. Ren'Py is wonderful invention, it makes development more accessible to people who wouldn't be able to do it otherwise. It's a blessing, but also a curse. It's the vanilla of development, it works fine, everyone likes it, you can't go wrong with it. But it doesn't mean we have to get stuck with it forever. Doesn't anyone want to see something new? More interactivity, new interesting mechanisms, anything? Admittedly, the water gun minigame is not the greatest example of such thing, but it has to start somewhere.

really enjoyed playing the 16 days of Frosh Life so far, very nice and sympathic game, decent writing, humor, fine ideas and characterisation.
Looking forward to more and further updates - please don't let this "gem" get abandonned, even the funds and donations aren't supportive enough at the moment ... and your time to work on this game is rather very limited.
Your work and this game definitely deserves much more attention and support - but just feel encouraged to keep up the good work! I'd love to support you myself, but in these times of Covid I'm unfortunately limited, too...
