Man the mc and Carmine relationship has made barely any progress for more than two episodes.I know it's supposed to be slow burn but this is something else so many renders in each update amount to almost nothing.Infact it seems like they have taken a step back if anything they seem closer before chapter 4 and all the secret service fuckery started.

This developer's vision seems to be misaligned from what their players want. Trying to tell a story that nobody in the thread or reviews seems particularly interested in while dangling a carrot on a stick in front of them, except that carrot is incest porn. 
I hoped the ending of the last game was a one-off blunder but I think this game is gonna suffer a similar fate.

What I see is that, at the point where Ray is having a seizure or something in his car, the game suddenly drops out to the main menu. No error message. Am using the i patch, but I have not seen any incest or much of any thing else. I do like a little porn, but I am not seeing much in this game. He did say it is not a porn game, but why the i patch with no i? Besides that, It is a good enough story, I think. You do need to pay attention. If you take a sip of soda, you could miss a frame and not know what is going on.
Yeah I have exactly the same thing. Game stops for me there too while using the patch.
Remove the patch. Run the game past Roy in the car. Talk to him about his addiction withdrawals, get him a pill.
He feels better. Save game, reinstall i patch. Game runs.
Not long after restoring ipatch, the games starts getting a lot of script errors. Restoring script.rpy and script.rpyc from the game distribution zip , fixes that.
It isn't necessary to remove the rest of the ipatch files, unless you want to. They don't do much anyway, it seems.

So until whomever made the i-patch posts an fixed version to the first page, you can actually fix it yourself easy enough:
- Download the i-Patch, after extracting to the correct location open the Ep5.rpy in notepad or another text editor.
- Scroll to the very bottom.
- Replace the line "show EoE with dissolve" with the text "jump Ep6" (It's case sensitive so be sure to capitalize the E and don't actually type the quotation marks ...).
- Save.
The game will now continue from Ep5 to Ep6 without having to uninstall the patch.
