As for the wife, she'll be getting a proper 2 part comeuppance from both Alvaro (prev MC) and Xiomara with the help of Flynn (this MC).

I don't think it's a good idea, Alvaro and Xiomara proved to be much more mature than Luisa, there was already a closure, if something else happens it will only sound like revenge, and they are two characters built in a way that they don't fit such negative actions/feelings. Besides, how long has it been????
I said comeuppance, not full on revenge.
Trust me, I'm not doing this out of public demand - it's going to be tasteful.

I understand, but in my eyes, even an April Fool's joke is going to taste like revenge, since it is something in the past, something that they overcame with effort, first the hard way and then with a healthy cure.
Obviously it is only an opinion, in this case my own, and I know that if I get to that point I have the option to press Ctrl and move on to the next thing, pretending that all that does not exist.

Is this a sci-fi story? I don't see the tag, but the 1st & 5th preview images make it look like it should have it.

So i just noticed this is from the same dev als Making Memories which was a hiddem gem in my opinion. Flynn is also growing onto me and i'm enjoying the what more straight forward plot and mature themes.
One critiscism I did have was;
All in all i enjoyed it and i'm along for the ride.
Edit - Just saw post about the ex-wife from the previous game, and I agree with Sorcro. Feels a little bit redundant and more for a certain segment of the audience, but i'm not touching those discussions with a ten-feet pole.

The game looks semi-interesting.
The art looks good, hopefully, the dialogue is decent.
I'll give it a go.

There is an implicit trust between author and reader. I was an early and devoted fan of MM, heavily investing in the mc's relationship with his daughter. Then utterly with out warning you simply made that go away. You squandered that trust, without expressing a moment's regret.
You are a talented developer in all facets of the product and MM was always top notch, but I'll be waiting a long long time for this VN to mature before I play it or anything else you produce. Fucking with your reader's trust has consequences. Fool me once...

What a character.
Every single person in this story is fundamentally flawed one way or another. I love it. This was a great update by the way.
