Since I can't work on it every day and can't commit to a schedule, I will continue to freeze Patreon payments. I haven't collected a cent since March, I think, and for now that will remain my position.

Well Tessa is finally back so thankfully it will no longer be abandoned. Though because she hasn’t been able to work on it for a year-ish it’s still technically abandoned

I would personally argue that it should be classified as 'on hold' rather than 'abandoned'. However, my view matters little compared to the somewhat nonsensical standards of this forum in that regard.

I mean, as far as anyone knew this game was abandoned. It hasn't been updated in over a year, without word from Tessa until very recently. That kind of meets all the qualifications of abandoned, by any reasonable standard. Now that Tessa is back, perhaps we could argue that it's "On Hold" but I would imagine that on a list of priorities changing status from "Abandoned" to "On Hold" is pretty low. Especially considering there still isn't a time frame for the next release, or what, if any, has been worked on for the last year.

Also she hasn't yet posted anything on her own Discord (don't know about her Patreon, not a member there).

So apart from the post here no comms that I am aware of so still a bit uncertain what to make of it.

Imo, the mere fact that you disabled all patreon tiers already disproves the fact that this was a rip off or scam. You collected voluntary money when there were active updates and as soon as something in your life got in the way you prevented people from giving you more. This is a very respectful thing to admit that a lot of people already don't.

I'm glad you're back and I'm exited for what's to come!

Only gets removed on an actual update.

Many devs before have said they are still working on something yet no updates ever appeared. Once a game is tagged as abandoned the only way to get that tag removed is to prove it and as the old saying goes, words are cheap.

Hell yeah! End of last year saw some updates of my favourite VNs. Sad thing is they only last for so Long. So I really could do with another update of something major now.

Weeeeellllll, there was a post here on this forum from the dev's account saying that. The Discord is still a ghost town, however, so color me skeptical. At this point I'm suspecting someone hacked the F95 account, because why in the world would you only post here, and not on your own frigging Discord?

It doesn't add up.
