Oh wow. I used to check here often, now I skipped a few months and it's blown up...
Everyone seems a bit on edge. Why is it so weird to update here before Patreon? Patreon means money and with that obligations or at least expectations. I get why you'd not want that if things are uncertain.
I believe the dev if they say they're working on it, however long that may take, and I will patiently wait for anything that may be to come.

Where is the dev from? Whenever a dev suddenly stops communicating after being very active I worry that they got caught in the turbulence/war that's currently going on.

She told us she was working slowly on Chapter 3 and that no estimated release date was available. Since she can't work on it every day, she couldn't commit to a timeline. It's been four months since her post. Many games don't get an update in four months. Let's give it the time it needs. I'm a positive person and I'll stick to her last post. In the meantime, and because I believe in what she said, I'm agree with Corpse : Even unfinished, the game is very cool.

And I still don't believe that post was real. As I've said before, I occasionally check on the Discord, and it's an absolute ghost town that's completely riddled with spam-bot posts. I simply cannot make myself believe that a dev would come back from an extended absence, make a single post on F95 of all places, and completely ignore both their Patreon and their personal Discord. It just doesn't make any sense.

I agree. Is that even Tessa to begin with...? Her losing her account would make sense to why the year and a half of silence is happening

What does an account have to do with it? If you lost it, then 1) you can restore it
2) create a new one and get in touch.

I would present this counterpoint: Why would someone that is not TessaXYZ log on to her forum account and make a post about her continuing work on the game 'as usual'? That simply does not make sense.
