Still slowly working on my new concept, characters and environments. I was hoping to have something published by now but I have been busy with other issues and had health issues as well.
I'm also not sure whether I should try to implement a full combat system or just keep things a little simpler, like keeping more like a visual novel than a game. It would still ahve choices and different paths. NOt sure.
Anyways, I'm hoping I will be able to publish something at the end of the year. We'll see how it goes.
i prefer VN without games, grind sucks, some small games are ok for me
but to each his own

Yeah, I've been thinking about it. I do think it's nice to have more gaming elements, hence the battle system I was working on, but they are hard to implement and they won't be as good as in games created by teams/companies.

So, I guess they are not really worth the effort. Some fighting/adventuring will be a part of the story but probably best if I just focus on creating a fun VN with plenty of choices for the players and skip the RPG-style battle scenes. That will also allw me to focus more on the characters and the story, which are, imo, this project's strength regardless.

I will ahve different classes of characters though, and choice that will affect the story in various ways....

Well, I doubt anybody is following this. Anyways, here it goes: I was hoping to restart work on my remake of Future Fantasy Harem a while ago, but life got in the way. I did write down a few ideas on paper, an prepared some assets, but yeah, didn't actually work on it.
ANyways, I think I will soon have time to finally work on it. Hopefully I will be able to publish something by the end of the year.

Yeah, so just wanted to add I'm sorry I didn't post anything for a long time but I couldn't work on this for a while due to personal reasons.
Before taking a hiatus, though, I put quite a bit of effort into planning my remake of Future Fantasy Harem. I will keep many charaacters and the main story, but in other ways it will be quite different (for instance, no animation but better art - also, I want it to play more like an RPG f sorts, as the main character will also assemble a team of warriors, wizards and clerics). Either way, there will be many beautiful women in the new game.

There was also another reason I didn't work on this remake sooner... My current computer can't handle Iray very well, and I do plan to use Iray for this remake. I'm now looking at getting a new computer. Long term it will allow me to produce better art, and more quickly, but it will delay my first release a bit since I will have to reorganize my assets a bit.

Anyways, still hope to finally release the remake's first installment in December/January. Not sure how big it will be, but at least it will be a start.
Current working title "Future Fantasy I: Rigger's Quest."

PS Edited to correct typos
