I get it, the amount of work done is pretty insane, but seriously do we even have a say...? I don't think there's anything we can do. Except complain, yes, but if they made a FF 2, given that FF 1 is completed before FF 2 of course, I can't say I would have a choice in the matter. I'd still have to get it since there's nothing else out there...

Oh wow, sorry, I should have known we were forbidden from having casual conversations on a forum! Of course it's a highly serious peer reviewed source based gathering of porn games scholars, silly me! How idiotic of me to assume it would go without saying that I simply checked what the devs said on their publicly available channels!
They were never forced to commit to anything. They've missed their launch date several years in a row for a game with 5 levels.
Forget the data banks, there are far too many pointless conversations in this game. The ones that change Talia's personality are at least understandable but some of these interactions are just so pointless that add nothing to the game and just waste your time. If it at least led to more H-scenes I wouldn't mind it but you just engage in talk with NPC's that all in a roundabout way say that Talia is an idiot and she calls them weird and moves on.

seems there's a story to the development but I don't know what that is. The game itself is...fine. Its practically a Visual Novel with the text walls and as a player I don't feel encouraged to sit through it all. Which is a shame, because I know a lot of effort must've gone into not only writing whatever's on it, but voicing it too. This game shows a clear line between making a game, and a Hentai Game. The platforming is Great, graphics too, and mechanics seem solid enough. Other than some minor design issues (which is just my opinion) this has the works to be really good, but the dialogue is such a drag.
Its gotten to the point where even the sex scenes are brutal with the overly corny writing. I understand there must have been some development rules they had to follow probably on Patreon but this is just too much. Curious if this'll ever get an off the books non-con mod, or dialogue shortening at least. Just barely on the last McGuffin from the first area but idk about continuing. Even so, I have to commend the overall quality of what's in the game though. Clearly there was a great deal of effort, especially to make something most of us can't.

It's a common issue that the sex and combat are mutually exclusive. This game started development almost a decade ago so many other titles in the same vein have raised the bar. The dev has expressed disinterest in the sex elements, promoted the game for the platforming and narrative first and foremost, and compared it to Skyrim. It's not as if it was tacked on though as very little of the narrative lacks the raunchy elements.
Admittedly I think Karryn's Prison is the only game that did this well and it benefits from being turn-based. It's also hard to write a good reason to add the sex to the combat without making it a major personality trait, and some people find it appealing that sex is a punishment for losing I think. Having said that this setting makes for a good reason that could work. Balancing combat and sex could also utilize the personality stats more. One idea would be a poise/knockdown/dazed system and when enemies are vulnerable sex can be used for critical hits...just like how sex is already initiated for Talia. I don't really like arousal meters or other demerits for the sex, but there should be a system limiting how frequently it can be done and there should be an important gameplay reason to do it. For example it could be the primary method of healing. The explanation could be as simple as you were only able to get the healing item by getting so close the enemy.

It's done this way because getting sex scenes after defeating an opponent could be interpreted by Patreon & friends as playing as a sexual aggressor

Future Fragments was designed this way from the start. It's designed as a "regular" game with optional NSFW content. So sexing the enemies away or sexing your way past the enemy would change the game balance and so the dev decided against it.
Instead you get rewarded with the animations in the gallery through playing well (completing "achievements") so you don't just get the sex through losing.

has a full gallery version came out yet? I mean one with every scene in the game not just the grab ones?
I've scraped the gallery from the game. Does anyone has the time/skill to put the missing scenes together? I don't want to wait weeks or months for the devs to update the game gallery.
Here is a sample file for proof. 204 files in total. I've tried to put one scene together in Gimp, but it looks like crap. Can't post the link now, because of the 3 post minimum rule.
