Thank you for your feedback. I'll think about adding randomly generated cases in the future.
About coming here to discuss I don't have any problems with that. I won't personally send links to patreon only versions because I think it's not fair. Not fair for the patrons, not for myself. I'm happy if my game is appreciated and played, and I don't ask money for it. All pledges are entirely optional and, differently from other developers on Patreon, I won't EVER release something JUST for patrons.
They will get a preview of what the final public version will be.
Let me try to explain that: if a given release is set to contain 10 features and I will need 6 weeks to develop all of them
- The public will receive all 10 features in 6 weeks
- $5 patrons will receive about 8 features in 4 weeks
- $10 patrons will receive about 6 features in 3 weeks
- $20 patrons will receive about 4 features in 2 weeks
You will then post a version which could contain many bugs and some things I could even replace in the final version, that's because the game is an alpha build and everything is always subject to change.
Many developers put a pledge-only option to release exlusive content. I think that's not fair because I'm not trying to SELL my people. I can't even block someone to steal my idea and make good money with it, but I accept that.
While I'm not asking for money I will gladly accept those who are freely given to me. That's because I don't think I'll EVER reach a point where I will leave my job for good, but with what I'm actually earning (51$) I can buy more DAZ templates and improve the game. I know the ARRRR option exist but I don't feel right to steal the artist's work that help make my game becoming good.
A person could also pledge, download the game and then retire his pledge so giving me nothing. I accept that too and I don't care. If he likes my game and my idea he'll support me, if not... I won't replace his conscience.
So I will keep coming here to answer your questions and giving you updates. I only ask you all to follow my only "Official" channel (patreon), because I've seen even here many speculations about things that won't be present in the game among other things and I can't be everywhere to control the rumors are true or false.
I'm very glad so many people talk about my game and I won't ask a single penny for it ever. I think that's enough to put me on a different light from many other developers (I'm not saying better or worse, that's for you to say, I'm just saying "different").
