Replayed this game from the start and was very happy with the changes of the rework. I don't remember my previous playthrough entirely, but I did notice the absence of a few frustrations. Being able to tell Beth to fuck off was a highlight, and I found the general flow of the game and interactions with the characters much more pleasant than on the first run. At least beside the thematic bad first impression.

Sadly, a couple of minor new issues were introduced as well. These are mostly continuity errors between scenes (the MC knowing something he didn't experience) or double intertitles telling us some time has passed when an event gets skipped.
I took extensive notes of everything I noticed; I'll just have to find where Mango is hiding.

Nothing’s forced. Harem - same as every sexual encounter in the game - is optional as far as I know.

Yeah, Paris seems like she's going to be the setup for a Stella relationship either as a wing-girl or a heartbreaker. I'm fine with that, but it's also a shame because Paris is so likeable. I think I'd like to see her as a MG option too with a little more character depth.

When Paris said that, she had me. Just a very cute moment showing a playful side of an otherwise relatively wholesome character. When we meet her, the game calls her "Noisy Girl", but I never got that impression of her. She may not be as soft-spoken as others, but she's not obnoxious either. She's outgoing and flirty but also seems to have a caring side to her. She might be a maneater, though.

To be fair, Paris made it easy for us to like her; we haven't seen her bad side yet. I'm sure that Stella can be as sweet as Paris, but that wasn't how she was introduced to us.

are the mods actually working? Scrappy version doesn't show the highlighted choices and Joker mode is stil crashing on a some choices for me.
And yes for Scrappy mode the walkthrough is enabled via the menu

Update: anyway, figured out how to fix the Joker mode.
Edit JokenModeOptions.rpy and change JGR2 to be
"{color=#0f0}{b}{size=25}"
