Finished the intro. Art is ok, but everything about the story so far is setting of warning bells that this is another Cyberpunk story made by someone who thinks cyberpunk is an aesthetic and not a genre with specific themes. Which is fine, but it's not what I want out of a VN.

I haven't downloaded or played the game, but that may be the greatest dev name ever.

In terms of homonyms, "Deus ex Labia" would've been even better, but maybe I'll use that one myself one day.

Ghost in the Sheets references a cult title GitS, Dev must be very careful and accurate making the plot, any mistake along the way could turn it into Ghost in the Sh*t. I'm just saying...

Haha I thought the render turned out goofy It was supposed to show getting off her clothes / gloves, but I severely struggled with aligning the poses. By the way you didn't even comment on the flashlight being turned on for some strange reason, that irks me way more now that I see it

That made me crack up, and thanks for the nice words! I really like the storytelling in those pulp fiction hard-boiled books and I intend to follow along those lines.

But rest assured, I only got into Daz very recently and I'm still limited by the amount of assets and skills I have, with how much everyone complains about Blender UI I'm constantly swearing at how complicated everything is in Daz haha. ok..my playtime was very short..because i chose everything that avoided touching a dude..my question is..due to the choices(which i appreciate) is there future lesbian stuff which means avoiding the dude had meaning?...or does it just mean i'm not gonna see any woohoo..LOL

Interesting feedback! First off I struggled with this whole choice thing in the demo because I wasn't really sure how to make that path you took interesting. Basically it's a shortcut for those who don't want to take the scenic route. The only place where the choice matters at this point is the very last scene where you either wake up alone or together. My plan for following episodes was more a "if you didn't sleep with this guy you get options for others" but it wasn't very thought-out. Also my original idea was to have a "non-sex" path for those just interested in the story like those non-violent paths in Deus Ex and Metro 2033 and such. Now that I think more about it I could see the second path leading to a masturbation scene, I might rework this before the next release. Thanks for the feedback, you gave me some good ideas.

I really like Cyberpunk. I read the Sprawl Trilogy (Neuromancer and the other two by William Gibson), the Eclipse Trilogy, Snow Crash, I played Cyberpunk 2020 (the Pen&Paper that the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 is based on), Deus Ex, System Shock and others I can't remember right now. Of course I have seen Ghost in the Shell and both Blade Runners.

But Cyberpunk porn games don't do it for me. I don't know why. Is it because the world is artificial and I know that and because of that I am constantly testing and doubting it in my mind? Who knows. Sex is actually quite a factor in Cyberpunk so it fits the setting perfectly. And I didn't mind reading it or finding it forced at all. But porn games? I like them in a present day setting.

Interesting sentiment, I can understand that even though I'm the opposite. I mostly find sex in movies / series very boring unless it's woven into a noir / gritty plot. A really good example is the second season of True Detective (such an undervalued series by the way) where

I definitely have a whole bunch of ideas that will weave cyberpunk themes and plot into the story. This first episode is very short and originally started out as a fun experiment / proof of concept before I decided to go public with it. That means it's more of a showcase and yes, a bit focused on aesthetics (the main menu render originally was intended just as a fan art artwork before I started learning about RenPy). Thank you, I agree on all fronts. It is indeed a demo, I think I'll merge the second episode into the first when it's done to have about an hour or so of gameplay. Out of interest do you have a rough idea how long this took to play through?

That's a good point. It's intended with muscles all the time (her being ex-military and all) but I might have forgotten to apply high definition muscle maps after a crash now that you mention it. I'll give that a look when I come back home.

I mean, not every game needs the same fetishes like lesbian for example.

If you want to write a story with a straight character because you feel stronger in that specific storytelling then do it, there's plenty of lesbian content in every other game on this site.

Cyperpunk games are littered with porn.
It isn't a cyberpunk game without the good old:
"You hear something behind the corner, and start running, but you ain't stupid so you use your eyes when crossing the street. Roll a d20 >=18 to NOT crash into a cumleaking dazed hooker stumbling in middle of street"

50% of the NPC you see generally have to do with porn.

You meet porn when you sit down at the bar after work, and get annoyed by hookers.

You meet porn when you order some shitty soykaf (because actual coffee is a luxury noone can afford) and spot remainders of cum in the cup because the former customer who had the same cup was a hooker.
(OH, YES, not kidding, talk about bastard Game Master having you roll dice for Cup Condition)

You see porn when you sell yourself for some information that you need.

You meet porn while you are walking back from Doc after getting some fine new chrome, passing rows and rows of dregs so hung on snuff BTLs (BetterThanLife full-sensory memory recordings) that their SimSense interpreter already fried half of their brain (and that visually as well) so they actually do the motions from the recording and spasm on the ground sometimes in middle of the street.
(There is a good movie that shows that drug really well: Strange Days)

You see it when the actual job is to kidnap some rich dude's daughter and record mid-coitally fraggin' her, so those junkie dregs can get the feels and sensations from gettin snuffed by having your orifices shredded by a chainsaw, which can take a while with those rich girls and their chromed holes........
(I once had really bad luck and BROKE my junkyard-"quality" chainsaw)

Or the job is to shut down a BTL lab, steal their recording equipment and deliver it to a rival lab.......
Well, whatever brings credits, anything goes, that's how it goes.
(Not that you play the good guys n girls in cyberpunk, noone really does that.)

Wow, I checked that game out and must say I really like it, especially the way the creator plays with focus and shadows in his shots. I have to start using focus blur in my shots, didn't even know DAZ could do that until today. I definitely agree the two have parallels, especially the way we both seem to render full backgrounds instead of superimposing character sprites on backgrounds.

I think those were just your game master's fantasies. Well in fact I was the game master so there wasn't that much porn. But I had my characters score with some NPCs in the Forlorn Hope during two missions. It fitted the setting.

Indeed. Fun fact: Once on a mission two players invaded an apartment because it was adjacent to the target. They liquidated the couple inside ... and then a baby started crying. One player told the other one to do something and that guy was out of ideas and suffocated the toddler with a pillow. That player was my brother. He has two daughters now.
