Even my wife was telling me "for the kind of game you're doing, it would be better to just switch to RenPy"... Should I just restart everything from scratch then and re-do it?
oh no no dont do that to meman is your game your idea and i loved everypart of it even im not so good with female domi but still ,the diferent with the renpy is ,more about the story than the thing you can do in those roaming moments,at least for me the best rpgm game i played where those from NLT media and when i say those,i mean the last 3 ones,the roaming is amazing the quest logs are well done and the renders and quality of in gral too,but renpy has its own dificulties im imagine,but look you can chek any game you liked or played with renpy engine and see if you can do it ,but dont quit now on this ppl will hate me for even to put you to considerd ,so be you do your thing and chek the engine and what is take to do the jump to renpy or you can always talk to Doshima he is doing a renpy port of the game Shadows of Desire

I'd keep it RPGM, as you already made a good progress using this tool. You already have made a solid game system, with relationship, repeatable scenes, storytelling and some, hmm... game endings, so to speak xD
I don't think it is worth to just throw everything out and go almost from scratch on another platform (even though a lot of things could be reused, including your renders).
That said, Ren'py is an engine that's mean to develop... Visual Novels. You like to write comics. See what's the point here? Ren'py fits your style very well.
Ren'py has several advantages over RPG Maker when it comes to dialog-heavy scenes. It has a skip system, you can Save/Load whenever you want, you can rollback messages (and even choices! Think about miss click situations). So when it comes to visual novels, it's hard to beat Ren'py.
And RPG Maker... is great if you are creating an RPG. It offers you a lot of tools for it: you have a combat system (which is great when it's well used, and it leads to hate when it's poorly developed), items system, and of course, you have a map. There's a lot of assets and plugins, that you can use to create the world of your dreams.
The map itself is one of my favorite things about RPG Maker: it provides a good immersion in the game world and environments, you can control your character inside this world... and that's cool! At least for me.
Both engines provides good possibilities for different branches. Usually, Ren'py does that with dialog options, while RPG Maker does that with maps and interactions (that said, graphic choices are present in Ren'py too, and we have amazing examples of it!).
I'll leave on the spoiler below some examples of great games made with Ren'py, so if you want, you can download some of them and take your own conclusions:
- Proceed with your development on RPG Maker. Make it a complete game: relationships, shrinking system, endings. Explore further your current characters (especially Liz, she is the best girl imo), creating more content for them. Take advantage of everything RPG Maker has to offer, if you think it suits the game.
- When Giantess Spa: Investigation is finished, go for Ren'py. You won't regret. You'll see that you will have a fantastic tool not only for your games, but for your comics as well: you could simply release a pdf/image file, just like you do right now (so, you'll please your customers who are satisfied with the current format), and alongside it, you can release a Visual Novel version (using Ren'py), that could feature musics and sound effects (and since it is the same story, no concerns about branching and game planning, it would be all about setup images, dialogues and audio, most of which you already created for your comic). There are a lot of ways that you could use Ren'py to make your comics even more rich than they are. The limit is your imagination. New games and the possibility of a GS: Investigation sequel is a plus.
And I'm saying this as someone who actually prefers RPG Maker games than Ren'py. But seeing your storytelling style and art skills, well... Ren'py is just perfect for you.

Ren'Py is 100% better. Look I get it - you probably grew up loving RPG games. I did too. But VNs are just a better vehicle for porn games. I loved your first game *despite* the RPG elements of leveling and travelling through a maze, not *because* of it.

Guys... I know I always seem to bring bad news here but...
I'm sorry if I haven't been active. I know I promised the game to be released later in March, I hope you'll be able to forgive me.
Long story short: my father has been found with a tumor in his lungs and as well his eyes are no longer able to focus, forcing him to always see double.
Believe me when I say that it has been a NON-STOP rollecoaster going from one doctor to the other... At first, it seemed he didn't have the tumor, then instead they said he did and wanted to go for surgery, now they're changing their mind again.
To that, add my mother as well being unable to walk and having to receive constant injections in her knee.
Yay, so good to be back home, huh?
Anyway... As soon as I get a breather, I will publish it, I promise.

well i fixed that issue. But now when i try to actually start the game in the menu i get "Failed to execute 'attachShader' on 'WebGLRenderingContext': parameter 2 is not of type 'WebGLShader'
