And teachers address students by their last name and do not attach "Miss" or "Mr.". There are no detectives in the Russian state Police, but they are called investigators. There are detectives, but only private ones, and they don't sit in police stations. There is no such first name in Russian as Ilyushkin, and this is a surname. And Makarovich or Maksimovich is a second name, the same as Pavlovich, but not a surname. Tryndin is a nickname(a fictitious name, it is not specified in the documents), and not the first name.

When localizing the game, I encounter all sorts of errors in the game code. Are there any contacts to report these errors other than this forum and tfgames?

We are aware of some of the issues with names, but many of them was named by the original Russian devs and we left them as is, such as Mr Ivanov and we don't use the different last name based on gender because a lot of non Russian found it confusing.

For other names that was not part of the original game we have consulted Russian and Slavic name sites to get names.

As for the police detective, again that was done by the original Russian dev and we left it in. Perhaps it was a poor translation but that is what they was called in the original English name. Keep in mind all the original game was machine translated and then people that worked on GL finished translating it to English based on that. So there is going to be some issues because of it.

If you turn it on, it makes anal sex... "messy" lets say. The original ETO game had it that way. I argued that depending on the girls diet it isn't always messy and lets face it. It is deep down a porn parody game and some things are just a bit to realistic. So a compromise was settled on to have a toggle to turn it off or on and by default due to popular opinion it starts off. Same as stuff like needing to pee etc.

What's your opinion on MTL-ing not even a real name, but short name form "Slava" into "Glory" (which is got to be a girl name on top of everything). Probably over 90% searches for "Glory" in this forum or game text file wil result in you know what... - so its usage is not exactly clarifying for Western players (certain synth from Fallout 4 naming doesn't help either).
Well, a noun "Slava" from Russian, as well as "Banzai" from Japanese I'd guess, probably could be MTL-ed
as "Glory", the noun that is, in English.

from qwmeet.qsrc, these two lines probably speak for themselves:

Anyway, adding to discussion above, Slava as short name form could be used to a lot of different names (originated from same root obviously - Vyacheslav, Yaroslav[fem. Yaroslava], Svyatoslav, Vladislav[Vlad could be used], Rostislav,
Stanislav[Stas could fit better probably]), and even more names if other Slavic languages are considered (Miroslav, Bratislav, Miloslav, Borislav etc). It might be not that bad with different name root, but still.
The usage of some short russian/slavic name forms as western actual names for girls is not helping either. Natasha is at least girl short name, but Sasha is widely used as short form for both Aleksandr and Aleksandra.
Attempting to translate or even explain all this mess is out of the scope for this game I'd guess.

Most of the time using one or the other short form or nickname is just a matter of often unspoken agreement/tradition of a particular circle of friends/colleagues. You'd be given proper (full or not full depending on circle) name on introduction and would pick-up shorts/nicknames in use as you go, if you're accepted to the circle. That is the trick this game could probably employ to avoid/reduce extra confusion. Most circles are rarely intersect, so it's working IRL just fine. Unfortunately this game depicts a whole bunch of circles, so extra care with NPC identification is always welcome.
Another useful trick is not to translate names, ever, unfortunately using "Glory" as MTL-ed "Slava" fails that.

On positive note, I'm preparing set of git patches (against current master) to Vladimir's quest and some other stuff (couple of bugs/typos, some QoL, but mostly from wlife mod use perspective, could look cheat-y for regular playthroughs). Just so I could patch local copy of master branch with those changes easier.
5k/week sugar daddy without much time investing is hard for Sveta to pass (for wlife mod realities especially), so even MTL-ed quest has it uses.
I've also managed to get ETO v1.2.5 qsp file, but this quest original writing sounds kind of dull (or rather computer generated to my rusty russian). Time permitted I'd try to fix broken words order and some MTL leftovers for Vladimir quest.

You're welcome to review those patches then they're ready, maybe more players could benefit.

Oh thanks. On the need to pee, is that implemented? I don't think I've ever seen any option that enables it. If so, would it imply that if you don't go to the bathroom, you could pee yourself on the street, in class, at home, etc?

Pee is in the game as a option to turn on, I forget exactly where, likely in the same place as the enema option. The changes to the clothing, particularly the coats appear to have broken that on older saves, even if only 0.8.2. It might help if you clear preset clothing and remove your coat and shoes and those were moved to completely new variables and it might be when checking details for them that it breaks. Beyond that I don't know anything that would cause it and it might mean the save is broken.

You need to do missions for Tatiana, you might have to learn some spells or get magic level up a bit first. You'll meet her when running a mission.

In your room you should be able to askfor cosmetics if you have none, same for shampoo, deodorant and tampons.


As nutluck says willpower is impacted by a number of things, the main one is always linked to the situation so if you are resisting giving a bj it'll check to see how often you've done it and if you've never done it you'll find its very affordable, but if you've sucked more than a Nickleback concert with no bar and support acts including Clay Aiken and Jake Paul, then you'll find its going to cost you a lot of willpower to say no.
After that it factors in things like drink, drugs, high fatigue/thirst/arousal and even late stage syphilis (when you are cray, cray).

Unless it was moved to a mod, I am pretty sure we had a bladder system someone added to the game. It was optional though, I know. Kevin is more likely to know.

I have got redo the wearables on my list, make it a more robust system with interface more like the clothing one to cover all the piercings, butt plugs and types of dildo/vibes. Its not on shortlist so can't give eta.

The glory thing is exactly what happened to the Mira story with many calling her Mir in ETO leading to a lot of use of world or peace name replacements. Those got fixed as we reworked the village. The Vladimir story has never been worked on save for translation and bug fixes so the wierd name hasn't been redone. The driver is only described as Asian and a bit crazy so Banzai as a nickname works and I can see how the MTL got confused. If you do post some patches I'll look through and merge anything that fits. I might need to run stroyline changes past Vengeance as he's head writer and its really up to him what fits the game lore.

Yeah, the selfies have been doing so weird stuff and don't know why. As for not being able to sleep even on new game that sounds like a QSPplayer issue. Try one of the alternative options and failing that try re-downloading the .qsp file as this is something that should just work.
