It seems like a lot of people had much higher hopes and expectations for this game than I did. When I played the first release I thought that it might have different paths but only one real ending with both Mia and Riley being taken away. That's usually how the song goes in these mystery NTR games. Maybe with a few "bad" endings along the way for flavor. Now that I know there are multiple endings it makes the MCs decisions less tiresome. I may enjoy another playthrough. But I never envisioned any path that didn't have NTR. That meatball Gianni was going to get what he wanted from Mia, one way or another. I'm not sure what is going to be done in the next release, though. Maybe it will be an ending when it is revealed that all the sexual shenanigans were sitcom misunderstandings. But while that would be clever, based on what I've seen so far that couldn't be accomplished with actual good writing. You could do it in a soap opera way. Mia has an identical twin that likes to impersonate her and fuck with her life because she stole her boyfriend in junior high. But yeah. Mia was always gonna get fucked in this game and a pure path wasn't really in the cards.

I agree with those that say that this game isn't meant to be realistic. In real life, women cheat for many reasons or no reason at all. Even when they love their partners and have no issues with them. Often, so-called issues in the relationship are only brought up in the gaslighting period after the cheater has been caught and they are playing on the insecurities of their partner in an effort to shift the blame away from themselves. It can also be said of men, as many women who have been blindsided by cheating can attest. Often, the cheating partner is an inferior partner in every way but being with the person that they are cheating with convinces them that they are better somehow. Many times the main attraction of the cheating partner is their unavailability, such as being married to someone else. The idea that it is impossible to "end up" with the cheating partner makes the liaisons more thrilling as does the prospect of being caught. But as the game is and NTR playing into a fetish of course the cheating partner is going to be superior in every way; including availability, looks, physique, wealth, power, and a dick the size of a Pringle's can. Basically the protagonist of a harem game who wandered into someone else's game.

TL;DR I guess that the writing of this game isn't the best on the site, but it isn't the worst either. It kinda falls into the category of Maximus screaming "ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED?"

For a true good end all the hints at cheating that could have had justifications needed them to come out this update, instead all routes this update led to blatant cheating which means that's now impossible lol
So yeah it would likely be impossible for quality writing to carry out a good end.

On the subject of cheating you kinda contradicted yourself by saying what was right after: 99.9% of the time cheating has a reason "or no reason at all", you followed that up with good understanding of psychology lol.

Statistically most men cheating tends to be 1 night stands or booty calls, often stems from a lack of physical satisfaction with their partner, the sexual kinda flings and cheating is much much more common with men.
With women it is about 80% emotional cheating, that being they have 2 legitimate relationships st once and tend to cheat from the heart.
To add to what you said, nearly all cases of emotional cheating are indeed from one's own inadequacies, my main gripe eith this games realism is the dick size stuff.
I've legitimately slept with women who didn't like me hitting their cervix thus we had to work around things for it to be comfortable with them, vs a guy like the MC would have 0 problems with that as he'd hit the g spot more often with his common thrusts lol

I will say I liked the touch that Riley loves the MC, giving you what seems will be the option to essentially hard switch partners.
My main gripe with that is if they were real Mia is one of my types, Riley isn't.

I think some of it can be explained with the realities of coding and mapping a story that complicated. I'm toying with my own game, and once you sit down and write a branching story, and contemplate the required coding, it quickly becomes clear how complicated it all gets. I wouldn't be surprised if the dev was contemplating a more robust non-NTR story route; but abandoned it in favor of a simpler/more focused story when they began to plan out all the necessary steps. There's already been a number of coding issues in the game (that's not meant as a criticism), so a story with more branches would have been exponentially harder.

I think my perception as a writer was to expect an all-inclusive but still justifiable explanation of events, while the actual writer just wanted those to be "NTR teasing", which is fine, just unfortunate for the grand scheme of writing.
Some people love stories to be straightforward, overs want messages or overarching plots at hand.
The reason I don't think it's due to coding is that the pure route could have been implemented next update.
We go all the way to the end of the cuck route for my justification here:
It would have had to end before you discover Mia and Riley fucking Gio, instead, you'd have woke up in the hot tub, if you chose to be a cuck you catch her like we did this update if you chose not to, and the options to favour Mia and ignore Riley the whole game: Mia would be in bed, making the screen door washroom scene due to delirium from heat exhaustion, the laptop scenes dark dream fantasy and the dressing room could have been her using a vibrator, as for her putting the Bootylicious wig on, fuck it just claim she happened to own a similar wig, there were no key defining features, it's just a wig.

This would ultimately mean as far as coding goes that the hard part would be done on the finale since until then everything leads to 1 of two main paths anyway, the cuck route or the cheating route.

But yeah, as far as coding goes it woulda made stuff a lil less convenient but I had always envisioned the finale would give those 3 or 4 main endings I pictured:

1. Cucked (NTR)
2. Netorase (lending, swinging, letting your partner fuck others for your enjoyment)
3. Break up/Revenge (Whatever this would be, basically the "fuck you too" route)
4. True End/Romance End (All the "signs" were actually just a byproduct of the MC's thoughts and not reality)

I don't know that a non-NTR story is even possible with the way Mia is written, unless her personality changes vastly depending on the routes. From the paths currently in the game it's becomes clear that for Mia lying comes as easily as breathing. She'll lie to the MC, lie to her parents, no matter the circumstances if so long as it gets her what she wants. I haven't seem the reclaimed route yet but so far in most of the routes Mia is pretty irredeemable.

I really did think Mia would have had a good route, but yeah she's definitely irredeemable now. It's either we accept the cuck role, or she stops cheating and we live happily ever after (2 "good" routes), both kinda an oof.
As my first quoted paragraph shows there was definitely a creative and easy way for a good end where Mia really does love you to exist.
Sexual dissatisfaction exists and is a fun part of learning to please your partner and you. But I guess the main intent of the game was to have Mia become a slut, Riley is the love interest, and maybe a few other routes to give out alternate ways for people to be happy. Let's hope we get some good endings next patch.

Maybe it's because I'm a woman, but everyone in this game seems really fucked up. The MC is much more sympathetic (at least in my playthrough), but even he's a mess. Riley and Mia though...YIKES. I mean, I guess that's the point of these games (this is my first NTR game), but I look at both Riley and Mia with very different degrees of contempt.

In pretty much EVERY good NTR game, there is a "true end" which is often the "happy end". Your 98% is the inverse of what you claimed. You can be a happy-go-lucky if you wish, that's your prerogative.
But many have agreed across multitudes of my criticism that the ntr routes in this are decent-good but the non-ntr route fell a little short of desirable.

And hey, the games that fall into YOUR "98%" tend to be VERY VERY shit, and they usually are made by devs who find little success.
Even some that don't e.g. Boy Hero Ken PLAN to have the True end eventually be a happy ending.

Also, "and you'd enjoy it more" maybe if I had a strong love for NTR I could agree with you there. As a writer I appreciate NTR as a dynamic, there are some things explored in it that can bring out emotions that other genres can't. But I'm not such a huge fan of NTR that wanting a heartwarming ending too (like many here) takes away from my experience. As an adult (I'm assuming you're under 18 from how you talk) I'm able to look at the bigger picture and enjoy a multitude of scriptures regardless of personal desire.

Oh, and for the record, the TRUE ROUTE for this game appears to be the cuck route if any, since it goes the longest. That being said netorase = romance. Netorare is more akin to "my girlfriend gets fucked while I get nothing", while netorase is more along the lines of loaning but you still indulge, often romantically.

EDIT: The developer himself upvoted my criticism a couple of pages back, I'm having a friendly discussion with other users here about the game.
I'm proud of the developer for consistently posting updates, maybe a month faster or slower sometimes, but that's life; he's never left his patrons in the dark and disappeared for several months (T4bbo (babysitter(s) dev)) I also think he wrote the game well overall, just some things aren't as good as they could be.
But here's a fact: Ask ANY writer if they could rewrite their story if they'd change anything. Anyone who isn't egotistical would say yes, even if it's a minor detail.

I never whine needlessly, I always do my best to discuss things constructively and with respect. Try not to be snarky "Maybe if you" and keep those kinda thoughts unrelated to the game off forums?

IIRC, I got the reclaim route by:
1. Always making choices that favored Mia
2. Always turning down Riley
3. Never making any cuck choices (this includes standing up to Gianni whenever you get the chance).
4. Training with the sex-toy every chance I got (might not be necessary)
5. Finally, and most importantly, I didn't stop Mia from going on the trip to Desireland. When the option to drink the whole bottle at the club came up, I took a single shot instead.

Sorry if anything is wrong. This is just from memory.
