The current version posted here is mostly about Kate, yes.
To anyone that can get Silver to listen to an actual problem from a dirty pirate:
I really hope he does something about that "Progress" side quest. It's virtually impossible.
I sleep until about 5:55AM (walkthrough said to get to the bath or shower just before 6; I needed some help with this BS quest) and head straight for the bathtub or shower, needing to finish off the Nick scenes for those areas.
Julia or Julia AND Nick come in. I need Nick to walk in ON HIS OWN.
Oh, and another problem. I got the idea to *gasp* try save-reloading until it works.
It doesn't. What actually happens is this:
1) Save the game, Nick's there
2) Try to get the event you want to fire but it doesn't
3) You reload your save to have another crack at it but for whatever reason, Nick vanishes*
That's a pretty crappy thing to do.
Anyone have any good ideas besides drive myself batshit insane trying this? I have this weird thing where I have to clear everything possible.
The amount of times Julia's walked in is bringing back unpleasant memories of Preston Garvey. Thank Christ for the mod community.
* I suppose the intelligent thing to do would be to save BEFORE you go home.
