I'll tell you: I only play Max's half.

This is what Darksilver is telling us everytime he releases an update:

4 times out of 10 : "this is our biggest update ever"

3 times out of 10 : "update turned out bigger than we planned"

3 times out of 10 : "well, we had planned a Kate's update, but Max won the latest poll, so next update is going to be Max's"

ok so this guy decides to make smaller but more frequent updates yet this this apparently also bigger than a normal update wtf is thsi management and planning

PLaning was never his strong side, by now we should be used to that. The results are worth the wait however.

When he started having polls for content and main character focus, it became obvious that he has next to zero creative integrity and a near total lack of fresh ideas. Rehashing content from earlier failed attempts, new content that often doesn't work, stuff that wouldn't ever be fixed if not for modders and worst of all, a ridiculous hyperdependency on grind instead of actually using the stats system to provide logical progression.

IMO, he should just sit and write a damn game script before any coding or rendering happens.
At least that way he wouldn't lose the plot.

It's not a planning problem it's just natural and really not worth mentioning. They make the renders, implement them, play through that part of the game and realise they could use a couple of extra images to polish it off, then add them. You're never going to play through and think that it could use fewer renders, so it grows a little.

I found enough stuff that could not come from polls (the polls usually end with "wantmomsexnow").
Most people complain that there is no plot, you complain that it's lost which implies that there was a plot at some point
We'll see where it goes.

But even if you are right, if he's just "following orders", it works. So far it's my favorite reincarnation of the "franchise".

There's plenty of fish in the sea and even more porn games on the net (and of course the huge stack of 'real' computer games that I own). If I ever findmyself not liking this game anymore, then I just play someone else and be done with it. There is no point in staying here and complain, there are just too many games waiting for me!

Stats system aren't the solution to grinding either, I've played games with that and some worked and others I found boring. DS's mechanics of your grind progress I don't think so bad, but it sucks in many times.

I believe every developer needs to create a storyline to start developing their story. Answer me, do you have any idea how far the story is going to go? after the character fucks everyone in the house, what will be the DS's next proposal? I feel like both stories are going into an empty void.

Looks like Kate is solidly in the lead with about 24 hours left to go. I think even most Max fans welcome a little bit of variety every now and then. Thing is, even if Kate wins the poll, I get the impression Max will somehow factor into the next update. Most logical place would be showing up at Julia's house or continuing the swimming lessons at the college .

DS did lose quite a bit of subscribers, but I think that had more to do with the situation in Ukraine and less with Kate getting the metaphorical shaft (giggity).

mmmmm Kate voted or not in 0.50, in my storyline Kate is no longer connected to the BB house, she got an argue with the BB clan, and the BB clan has changed it's plan on scholing since they do financial great with their show. So to me Kate is the only storyline that continues...... sorry that is have started to hate the BB clan, 2 Kate updates i a whole year ! Yes i left BB.

But i have installed DAZ3D and found

I'm just starting this game and this already looks like big brother 2.0, only Lisa has a different hair cut
