Short ( you know after playing Glamour this will be a white lie) report for a (new) walkthrough and some important steps.
Many players are "running" through the game and are looking for (new or interesting) images. This is better (and much faster) possible with the ImageTool and a good Imageviewer and setting the images into wanted directories for reviews or making slideshows. But...
You will see, that many images are lacking input, you don't know why they are at "that" position and some are even killing the mood.
So, for a less "grinding" playthrough, there is a need for Kate to have some starting money (for buying the laptop, buying online-education or sometimes being able to "pay" in money for staying into some quests). There are many hints, how to do it, but I found no easy one. But having some expierences with other games I looked into the gamemechnics where the saves are stored or in which way they could be reloaded. The only "safe and easy way" is the datafile, generated through "export" inside the game. The generated file is "GlamourSaves.data", stored into the main directory of the game itself.
This file is able to be edited with a comfortable editor (like notepad or similiar) with a decent searchfunction. The best and easiest way would be at the gamestart, since there are less data stored as after several hundred days gameplaying and some other saves, but the method is everytime the same.
Export your data via the function inside the game and after this quit glamour. Go to "GlamourSaves.data", open it and search for "name-profile-info-1" ( here "max-profile-info-1" if you are playing Max or "kate-profile-info-1" if you are playing Kate). Now you have to go back a little and you see some variables about "hunger", "energy" and the variable for "money", too. If you just started the game, then this is the value you want to change. (Spoileralert: Max will not need much money, since he is rapidly gaining some through normal gameplay and has much lesser payments, as Kate, for stepping up through the walkthrough. So maybe - just a suggestion - 5000 for Max and maybe 15000 for Kate, so very important shoppings and online-actions are payable without grinding them first over many days).
It is not recommened (or needed) to change other variables, too. Some will "kill your saves, bug your game and so on". Some are changing rapidly "every minutes" (hunger, energy, arousel). But it is up to you, to find some other interesting "stable variables" and cheat with them (you are warned, though - don't complain, if something will go wrong - and hope, you have done a backupsave (and maybe another "GlamourSaves.data" with (all) played data inside.
This is the reason, I mentioned before... with each save of your own (at some important quest-steps) there will be another "profile" added (names as above). So changing the "wrong" moneydata will not give you the wanted amount, but change another save from the past (this is not, what you want for a nice replay). Usually (if I looked it right) there is the same order inside "GlamourSaves.data" as in the normal saves, so the latest save (the point in quests you have reached so far) has the right money-variable to change.
VERY VERY import information:
With all changed "GlamourSaves.data" files and "reloading" it, there will be exactly TWO saves with the same name, the "unchanged one" with the old money and another (above) with the changed money. Be sure, to "reload" the wanted (changed) save and delete the other one after this inside the game (so you are not irritated after some time playing and wanting to go back).
Usually all needed informations are in the questlogs and it is a little bit tricky to find the fastest (or good) way, to solve all quests in a faster time. So you have a way to shorten the grinding up from the start and a nice backup without going into ...user\appdata.... or other locations to find your old saves.
And another way, to solve bugs, as glitches, scriptfailures after reloading something... just DELETE the usual directory at ".... user\appdata\roaming\glamour-updater . So you will get rid of mismatching informations and mostly all bugs. Just start a new game after deleting this directory and reload all your data from the exportfile "GlamourSaves.data" and you are good to go (or at the queststage you was with exporting the savefile).
Hope, this will help all new players or others wanting a better replay without all the trouble, before. Have fun in playing.
