ok i am curious has the female protagonist been basically dropped because the last several updates to the changelog only mention Max and that is it?

Jesus guys we get it, you don't like the game. At this point all the comments saying this game sucks are more annoying than the game itself.
I guess this continues to be just a re-envisioning of Big Brother. Max to the max. Non-stop Max-terbation. Max, Max, Max. *sigh* Is Kate even a character in this story anymore?

The developers must be gay they have a mancrush on Max, they just can't let him go, if they did and focused on Kate and her unique adventures the game would have been epic, instead of a torturous grind.

It's mostly Max now, and even if it's a Kate update, it's still in reality a Max update since he's been a huge part of Kate's story for a while now.
You can thank the people on his Patreon for that, since Dark Silver has basically let them decide the direction of the story, and all they seem to want is Max, Max, and more Max.
Not exacltly. He did poll after poll and used every result favoring Kate that there is still enough interest in Max so he kept pushing him. Over time the Kate fans just gave up as no matter the result, it means Max anyways.
