I'm making a fan version of Glamour's "Kate's Story" https://f95zone.to/threads/kates-story-v1-4-konstantin.136644/
I had to give up. I'm self-taught and the coding of the game changed and I couldn't figure it out.Hi, i know it's abandoned already but is there any possibility that you have your private updated version maybe???? Thank you very much for any help!
By reading and understanding what the quest log says. Please tell me
I agree, the fact that Big Brother has so many remakes by other developers means that there was a large crowd interested into the game. He abandoned a game that would make him rich, for what? I never downloaded Glamour because it was a mess since the start, then it smelled "abandoned" since the beginning. The guy should try to resurrect Big Brother, modernize it, cut out the grind, and try to deliver. He could make a lot of money, he just had to plan his work and story.Dude had a good thing going with big brother, it was bad but at the time it was ok and he got people hooked at the characters. He decided to stop it to remake Glamour, many jumped ship and then he decided to remake big brother inside Glamour as well. Such a stupid decision and with his MO as a developer it would obviously not work long term. I'm glad I never lost time with Glamour, lost enough time with Big Brother.
The worst part is that I kinda miss the dynamic with Big Brother with the house getting slowly more corrupted, with the girls becoming nudists, and having sex everywhere in the house. He really fucked it up.

DS set a new bar of quality in the adult game industry in its time.
BB wasn't particularly engaging as a story, largely because it's plot quickly devolved into nothing more than "stop Eric", and then "fuck the women... more", because so many plot elements were abandoned during development, to the point that two paths with Lisa prevent progression past a certain point. Even art quality was surpassed within its own lifetime which was barely even a year.I've tried many other games since then, including a dozen recent ones on Steam and none have been as engaging as BB
Even more wouldn't...I think if DS came back from oblivion, a lot of people would go back to funding BB.
Quickly or not so quickly or not quickly at all -in this context it's not that important. It's simply a fact: before BB, there was no such quality. That bar was quickly surpassed by many other games/stories...
As for the story, yes, I agree, it quickly went downhill. Even the players who demanded that Eric be removed quickly discovered that the absence of serious obstacles impoverishes the game and makes it less interesting and intriguing. I think if DS hadn't abandoned the game, he would have eventually continued developing Eric's storyline and/or added a new rival and new competition to the game.BB wasn't particularly engaging as a story, largely because it's plot quickly devolved into nothing more than "stop Eric", and then "fuck the women... more", because so many plot elements were abandoned during development, to the point that two paths with Lisa prevent progression past a certain point. Won't speak for everyone, nor will I speculate on the amount and level of potential support. Personally, I would support it right now.Even more wouldn't...
Three abandoned projects, one of which became a remake of two of those projects. He'll never get the same support as during BB's time.
That's largely open to interpretation, but it's an indisputable fact that it was surpassed, and within its own lifetime. It's simply a fact: before BB, there was no such quality.

He didn't have to abandon the game though... He could easily have made changes that made the game "Patreon friendly", and it would have been ridiculously easy to revert it via third-party means with just a text file change. Literally, that's how the mods people were making worked, including new dialogue for their mods.I think if DS hadn't abandoned the game, he would have eventually continued developing Eric's storyline and/or added a new rival and new competition to the game.
It's a fact that abandoning BB severely diminished his potential for financial support. Not even an Eric-less remake of BB in the remake of Glamour brought them back.Won't speak for everyone, nor will I speculate on the amount and level of potential support. Personally, I would support it right now.
