It is illegal for them to distribute in Japan itself, I`m not so sure if they aren`t allowed to make an uncensored version that is solely based as an international non japanese version. Even if it were the case, it wouldn`t be that hard to just collaborate with another company. Even if they would only work with one single foreign website and only because they distribute some copies of the game over this foreign website, that website would automatically be allowed to use an uncensored version without the japanese company behind it getting some problems.
At the end it is just about the question if the developers care about an uncensored version or not. Most likely they won`t bother.

No, I know for a fact that many if not all porn content creators in Japan hate the law and would make their works uncensored if possible. Hentai, doujins or games are all created with genitals fully drawn, but have to censor it out afterward, which means making it uncensored would be simple.
If "collab with a foreign website" is as easy as you said, every company and artist would do it already.
The law dictates that "who sell or distribute obscene materials will face charges." The keyword here being "sell or distribute" meaning even if they work with foreign websites to create uncensored, they still *sell or distribute* them, whether to the domestic Japanese or international market. Kagura and Fakku work because the developers or artists no longer is the "publisher" anymore, they do not *sell or distribute* the uncensored version and thus are not illegal, at the price of them not getting much of out it.

This is also happening to me and I think it's because the bugfix patch is for 'Goblin Burrow ENG Patch 20210407' not for the older 'Goblin Burrow 20210406' version of the game , so the patch isn't working on that version of the game. The older version of the game is the one available for download on f95 right now only unfortunately. It would be great if a mod could update the download links with the newer versions of the game!
Are there girls that have more chances to produce a certain type of unit? Or like is it better to use X girl for attack units and Y girl for magic and so on? Also is the paladin a pure defense or pure attack unit?

No, the goblin parent is the one that determines what unit is produced. There is a chart in the English Reference Sheet included with the download.
Since you have no control over what units are produced, you can't min-max that much. You can still breed particular attributes more than others though.
Paladins are kind of a hybrid. They're good physical attackers, with limited magic, and high defense. I usually put them on the backline with an all units healing spell, since you don't need much magic to get big heals.

I use dates instead of version numbers, 20210406 and 20210407 refer to the date I released them, nothing else. There were some bugs in the 20210406 release, and rather than reupload all 3.6GB of the game, I just released a small patch on 20210407 to fix them. Sorry if that is not clear, but the OP is correct. To fix the bugs you just need to drag and drop the data folder from the patch into your Goblin Burrow folder and overwrite the files when prompted.

Paladin has highest Def and second highest Atk, making him excellent melee fighter, due to how melee attack can be counterattacked. Champions deal the highest melee dmg but are squishy so they should only attack an enemy when that attack can guarantee to kill the enemy's pack units or the alpha unit itself.

It is actually easy.
First you need to farm for about 5 of one item (bread should be easiest) Search for Bread's value, and then used said value, add +C or -C in "add address manually" to find the next or previous item. For example, Holy Meat is listed as Bread's previous item, so its value is [Bread Value] -C
The only thing difficult is addresses change every time you load a save so you have to do it every time.
