Where was this stated? The game is still early access on steam.

But what can I do if I don't have a glory hole and can't build it either?

How can you not build it? If you don't have enough build mats, use saveeditonline to give yourself enough to at least buy one.

Storywise, it's finished. You can use the sandbox mode once you have defeated the kingdom. Don't let you confuse by the version numbers.
Happy pillow is working right now on a new game.

Aw man, Guess I will wait for a major update and play from the beginning.

Your not that far in if you haven't built the glory hole. It will take you far less time to start over then download and use the save editor to fix one mistake.
