Nope. It's why I didn't end up getting the last release. My financial situation doesn't allow me to commit to Patreons outside a month here and there during a release, so I couldn't justify paying for a month of literal nothing just for the right to spend money again to finally access what I'm after. I may as well wait.So let's say I become a Patreon today, I still can't access the game until a month later??
I feel you. Imo the dev is taking things a step too far with this. Especially since the game updates once every year.Nope. It's why I didn't end up getting the last release. Well, everyone will get access a month later (public)Nope. It's why I didn't end up getting the last release. I think is two consecutive months of subbing to be able to get the update, so for example to be able to get 0.5 you needed to have subbed in september and October.Ah yes the 30 day rule. I forgot about that.
How does it exactly work tho?
I know that if I sub now, I wont be getting the game until next month (so 2 patreons installments). I don't tend to continuously support (with 2 exceptions) but I usually sub when new updates are getting released. My question is the following:
If I sub now and immefiately cancel it ,will I still be considered a new patron when I sub for the next update release (0.6) ? Like does the system remembers you've been a sub in the past?
I have minimal interest towards Dottie so I'm not really eager to play 0.5. However I don't mind subbing now just to be able to grab 0.6 when I renew my sub (the month it gets released) without having to go through all that bs.
I hope you're wrong lol. If that's truly the case I don't see the point of subbing.I think is two consecutive months of subbing to be able to get the update, so for example to be able to get 0.5 you needed to have subbed in september and October.
It says 30 days for "new patrons", so I think it only applies to first time subs. It might let you download it if you've been a patron at one point 30 days prior of release and then resubbed today, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm not sure if he counts resubbing as "new patron". The tiers are explained on the membership page.Ah yes the 30 day rule. I forgot about that.

I mean they probably aren't going to risk it as they said they watermark the game so they know the Patreon who leaked it.I spot 34 likes on the Patreon post but no sharing of the riches. I hope that the supporters can find it in their hearts to give back to the community.
That's some Denuvo type bullshit.I mean they probably aren't going to risk it as they said they watermark the game so they know the Patreon who leaked it.
