Oh, but you are missing the central, world-moving and world-destroying conflict of every prime young pussy: She is not currently getting DEVASTATED by Chad Thundercock & his BBC Friends. I can assure you that the fate of galactic life is of very little import in comparison to this epic and eternal struggle that all prime young pussy finds herself in. The galaxy? That shit is literally light years away. Pussy is right here!Meanwhile, Ashley doesn't face any conflict and has no motives to be acting the way she's been acting on the bad path.
Yeah, it would have been more elegant to write the scenes in such a manner that characters never act surprised, and retcon Ashleys past depending on what decisions she takes. This is a Protip someone should tell EvaKiss! Would only take a few rewrites of the beginning chapters, but that would slow down the writing of new chapters. Go to Patreon, send her enough money to convince her to do it, and everyone gets what he or she wants.Due to bad pacing no time was left to explore her character so the only things we actually learn about her is in the opening, and I can believe that because other characters confirm it for me.
While when she acts bad, other characters seem surprised for her sudden behaviour change.
But narratively the intent is rather obvious: Ashley is a good girl with a bad girl lurking inside her, (like supposedly all women) and the willfull destruction of her relationship to boring, pussy-drying Eric by his decision to go to Wherethefuckistan drives her over the edge and she finally can freely explore her "Bad Girl" side. That means, narratively speaking, BGAshley would have had a slutty side, but even for a full blown BGAshley, it was at most a "naughty streak" in the past, and the current, rapid descent into full blown degeneracy and corruption that BGAsh finds herself in, would be a new thing either way.
