I honestly don't know what the dev was smoking? Why change the engine all of a sudden, you're essentially alienating part of your audience....

nvm I found a way to skip the time.

Use cheat engine, find a save where you can skip time freely. Unknown initial value (morning) ->forward -> increased value->forward -> increased value-> forward ->increased value -> sleep -> decreased value -> rinse and repeat.

I found out that at memory address
2AE13C466C8 the dev is using this encoding to mark the day time:

morning -> 1 (0001)
afternoon-> 2 (0010)
evening -> 4 (0100)
night -> 8 (1000)
incredible, it really worked! I'm going to try to continue playing to see if it glitches or not.
When less than 15 results appeared, I saw that one had the value of 8 and i was at night that is the one that worked for me

Just proves this dev team is an unserious joke and people should stop supporting them.
It was obvious the moment they said there was suposed to be incest from the beginning and that they will see for a way to impliment it, but then they put the tag into NOT PLANNED category. Not to mention the trash story, so the only consistent and payworthy team member is the artist.

amount of crashes making this unplayable, who was in charge of the absolute retard decision of swapping engines? needs the fucking rope.

My complaint there was no legitimate reason to change game engines. No reason to remake game. I find the reason game developers do this is to buy more time to get more money off the game as they have to start over from scratch and redo all the work they did before. To me when no legitimate reason it's too leech more money off the supporters.

STAT Bar is completely missing.

1. Remake Game (repeat work so don't have to progress story and leech more money)
2. Change Game Engine (unless legit reason like the engine can't support game details than it's to leech more money)

Problems with this are several cons below.

1. Supporters get screwed and have to wait for longer to finish game and often have to replay from beginning
2. Game is super buggy as developer is new with engine so it has lots of problems: crashing; laggy; and game bugs
3. Many times supporters stop supporting the game and leave after this stunt

So why do game developers think the cons outweigh the pros most of the time?

The only way this game could have incest is if their is a scene with both Noriko and Yasuka because they are the only family as MC has no family. So unless you get a scene with them 2 in a 2p or 3p there can be no incest.

Yes it is now bacuase he is writhing it this way. Initially he said himself that they were all from the same family. Obviously now that he just went back on his word and writing it without incest it will not make any sense. Doesn't make this guy any more reliable.

For the moment in history calling yasuka "mom" should not be a problem. I just have to take into account this particularity in the story so that the dialogues are never strange.

It's more for Noriko that it will be a problem, I'll see what I can do.

but I am once again asking fo your financial support

As for the incest, it's a complicated subject, Patreon doesn't like it at all, but you can rename all the characters as you like ;)

But when I originally wrote the story they were all from the same family.

Not to the extent it used to be... 2013 specs in general have not aged well a decade into the future. Some renpy games are very demanding on cpu, ram, and even gpu, especially more complex ones with systems that differ from the original visual novel approach. Like animations, open world menus, lots of checks that draw up multiple lines of code, you know the common stuff in sand box games, they eat up a lot of processing power and ram and some animations can cause lag on older cards.

Part of it is spaghetti code, part of it is system limitations, and part of it is trying to turn a visual novel engine into something it is not. But it can and does happen. A good example of this would be Oni's Roguelike evolution it is ridiculously resource intensive for a renpy game of 350 MB. Has common lag spikes, and uses ram like nobodies business.

Any component from 2013 has no place still being used in my opinion we are talking eleven years here.

For instance in 2013 4gb of ram was the average standard in non gaming/specialty pc's. Back then we were still on ddr3 so that ram was also slower. Good luck running more advanced renpy games with that.

The most common processor was still dual core, the Core i3-3220 at 3.3 ghz.

For graphics cards even if we are talking top of the line the 3 gig GTX 780 TI was 700 dollars in 2013, with inflation that is 943 dollars today in US currency. 3 gigabytes and that was top of the line for a consumer card most people still rocking a 2013 card are definitely not running that either, much more likely we are talking 1 or maybe 2 gig graphics cards...

It was a long time ago in tech.
A Dell winblows tablet with 4GB of RAM and integrated graphics and a pitiful dual core CPU is enough for majority of renpy games.
Venue 11 Pro 7000 Series (7140)
Intel® Core™ M 5Y10c processor (4MB L3 Cache, 2.0 GHz Dual -Core)

Damn shame, this was a beautiful game, now it's just another code monkey abortion.

That helped much.
Have beatn the game with that help

Can I just ask what the point was in changing the game engine? It seems like a very difficult and time-consuming process that resulted in little benefit.

I don't know about you guys, but I've already run into several hindering functions.

Is there really no way to skip transitions? They look terrible, take too long, and significantly reduce the game's performance (I've had it crash twice now when skipping dialogue).

There also isn't a way to make the text/dialogue appear instantly, like you see in literally every Ren'Py game. Waiting for the text to 'roll out' has to be one of the most frustrating aspects of playing any visual novel. Even RPG Maker has figured that out. Every sentence takes less than a second to read, yet you have to sit there and wait for up to three seconds per sentence before you can continue. You can "cheat" by clicking again, but it feels very clunky and still takes longer than if the text was instant. It's not immersive; it's just stupid. A book doesn't have text you have to wait for, does it?

Also, using cheat engine to skip the time in-game is unacceptable. They've removed, in my mind, a lot of fundamental VN features with this engine. I really hope they adjust this, or I'm not going to bother playing again, honestly.

It's baffling to me that they haven't included any of these features. Have they played their own game?

Sorry for the rant, just really disappointed with this update.

Good to see another another person with this same pet-peeve. Every Ren'Py game I open I instantly crank that text speed to instant/max

It's been a while since I've last played. Can we now help Yasuka without having to fuck her? I really don't wanna cheat on Asami.

I hate godot for so many reasons like the above. Such as no rollback, no text speed change, runs worse, no unren, etc
Maybe godot can do everything that renpy can, I have no idea, but if it can it seems that none of the devs know how to use it.
Why anyone would change to it in the middle of a game being developed is weird. Imagine building a game in unity and suddenly switching to unreal, or vice versa. To me that's stupid, just finish the game and stop screwing around.

Whatever dev's game they can do what they want I guess.

I liked the art, but i'm not gonna play this anymore, cuz i hate godot

If I recall correctly they got banned on steam for having the little girl be a character even if it was a troll in the secret menu (the character strip/dress up) they tried to age her up to get unbanned and that didn't work, so they're fully remaking the game on a new engine + aging her up to hope they can get it back onto steam

edit: 1719642622830.png
might be remembering that wrong about then engine switch reason but was banned

Every other transition to a different spot (often to the map) the game crashes, especially if you're clicking fast/ctrl'ing through the text. It's a good thing it saves so often but it's still painful.
But it's not the worst thing. The worst is not having an option to speed up / make the lines show instantaneously. It's absolute murder for those of us who read faster than a 2nd grader having to wait or to click twice to read a single, usually short line. Please save my fingers the added exercise.

This is one of the most pro-looking games out here, hope they can address these problems.
