Beautiful art, and interesting story premise.

Regarding incest: Personally, I feel a bit saturated with all the incest content and don't think it's necessary, especially if the aim is for a more believable setting (in terms of of character interactions). It would also make more sense to me storywise if it stayed as it is now, i.e. MC was taken in by Yasuka and brought the father's debt with him - if they otoh were all related to begin with Noriko has no reason to pin this situation on MC, rather she should be mad at the father (but then again she doesn't necessarily have to be rational :p).

I just started the game and I can already tell you that it won't work in the current state to just replace words. The backstory is already not going to work. Yasuka is an "old friend" of your dad. But why is she so mad that he ran off with some bi- new wife? New wife? So is she your step mom or an "old friend" of your dad? How will this backstory and certain sentences make sense if you change her name to "mom?" It doesn't. Right now, you are trying to somehow make 3 totally different scenarios merge into one. It seems like she is a step mom, but even that is against patreon, so you make her say the father was an "old friend." But in your mind, she is actually the biological mother, so she has lines indicating she is angry about the father running off with another woman. It's just all over the place. Not only that, let's say she is your mom. The conversation would be a bit weird too. Does he not know about his family debt? Ok it's possible that she didn't tell him. But then, why is he acting like she is shouldering his burden unnecessarily? It would be a family issue where he tries to help out his mom financially after learning about their problems. The current script is more like, "Oh shit... it was my dad's debt, but she got screwed because she took me in. It's my responsibility."

Do you see what I'm getting at? It may sound nitpicky to some, but it seems like you really care about your work. I read your dev notes in the discussion thread. It really doesn't seem like a half assed approach. If that's the case, you should pay as much attention to the script as you do for the art, gameplay, and UI. I am telling you as someone who consumes too much porn that word replacement for incest is a lazy method that results a poor script. You need to write 2 scripts. One for incest and one for non-incest. Or just scrap the incest all together and write a coherent plot without it.


PS. I agree with some other guy's complaint about hidden item stuff. It's not a good mechanic. I know you want it to be a point and click adventure, but really, no one wants to click around the whole screen on every single screen. There is no indication whatsoever. You can't visually see the money. The area doesn't even light up when you hover over it. Most of all, it's just not fun to click needlessly everywhere to find money.

UI is great. Art is great. I'm a fan of the linear fade-out dialogue box. Introduction great.
Around ~350 yen is the largest sum I've seen in beginning room from random places for anyone who wants to savescum for moni.
F11 and "f" minimizes or maximizes screen. "s" is screenshot.
Haven't found Quicksave and Quickload hotkeys yet if there are any, there are none by the looks of it.
Will be following this.

How many short-haired fit tomboys and dark skinned beauties will we see in this game? My penis demands answer.

I understand what you mean, at the base Yasuka is mostly frustrated because her friend left her with a woman leaving her son without asking her opinion.

I didn't know that step mom was also forbidden by patreon... It's getting worse and worse...

For the hidden money it's not necessary, if you don't want to look for it, don't just do it.It's just an additional gain, but there will be a job to earn money, especially in the restaurant.

The game offers several paths for each character, it all depends on how you interact with them, if you treat people nicely or if you know how to be strict when it's necessary then you will avoid falling into paths you don't want to take
