Oh lord how I hate that AppData folder. It has never once helped me with RenPy games, and on several occasions it has created unnecessary problems. Save files belong in "NameOfGame/game/saves" like god intended for porn games, that AppData folder is an abomination.

it all goes to same location as the rest of renpy games in AppData\Roaming\RenPy (not my first rodeo)
when loading saved games (thats where it reads from) so i loaded my save thats the error whats up?

How are people having issues with this- you save on the save now screen on .37
download .38 open .38 as a brand new game
load the save that says "save now"
You don't even need to import other saves- just upload the one that reads save now

It seems that the 2 biggest issues people are having is that they haven't saved at the right spot and that they are handling it as an update instead of a separate game. Do those 2 and most likely it will work.

He's asking if you saved at the "SAVE NOW!" screen but I don't think that's your issue here. Day 87 is from part 2 so you might have mixed up your files. Which part are you trying to play?

Complicated? I don't even know what to tell you dude. You got to a screen that said "SAVE NOW!!!", decided to save somewhere else and then deleted the game.



If you can't follow these instructions, that's on you:
1. Save at the "SAVE NOW!" screen at the end of part 2
2. Load that save in part 3

I can admit when I am wrong. I didn't realize that you have to progress to the last literal save now point in order to transfer over.
