I agree with you on that! In many games they are a cop out just to have some sex scenes early on.
Don't like them either, I find they kill the anticipation for the actually sex scenes but I had to show the player what she looked like otherwise she would just show up pregnant and you would have to throw her out on her ass if you're not interested.
Good thing I changed it from a sex scene to a blowjob scene.

I would rather there be no sex scene than a dream one. I just skip through those every time since they aren't really happening.
