This game is so blatantly obviously a light-hearted, fun romp, that someone expecting Dickens is outright delusional.
The game never pretended to be high literature.

If the game made no claim to be something, then people have no right to judge it for not being it.
It's like someone writing a romance story, then being criticised for it not having any horror.
Or a soap opera being criticised for not being Palme d'Or worthy.

Hence such criticism is entirely irrational.
I'm glad it's not Dickens. I would be running away as fast as I can and not even Fiona could get me to stay.

C'mon, from what I've seen, that family of ginger minges could get people to stay, irrespective of the writing! :ROFLMAO:
You underestimate my aversion to Charles Dickens.

Truthfully, I would just fall asleep before Fiona is ever introduced because that writing is so boring.

I think my country (England) is one of the few that has gingers as an object of derision and mockery.
Most likely because of the Celtic (Scottish & Irish) connection.
I'm not from England, but even here a red-haired man is considered the lowest form of existence. Unfortunately, this is usually not the girl case.

I'm a redhead by the way.
