I usually absolutely hate NTR. But I dont know what it is about this game and tails of desire that I let it slide.

Because it is not NTR. The girls are just sexual objects for him, he uses them for his advantage, whether it is to pay of some guards without shedding his "hard" earned gold or avoiding getting stabbed by big ass spears and letting the girls get stabbed wtih small "spears".

Seems like a small update by the changelog. Can we get out of that fish-people town by now (I think we were recruiting them for the mission as balista operators or some sort of siege-weapon people?) & progress to the next quest, or does progress still basically end there
