Its classic goblin lore, they use females from other species to reproduce and when they can't have more they eat them.

No this was different... the MC and his female companion got traped by a monster species whom's food supply include sentinel beings of other species.
The intro already warns that humans are little more than cattle for the monsters of the world in the rest of the vast world... that said it was a single scene in the begininning of the game in order to get rid of an over ambitious female that kept the hero under her foot and prevented him from being the great warlord the story intends to make him

with all the context given it's likely that the one in question is the Queen that you were meant to raid.
Or atleast that's what I concluded
EDIT... Ok after playing the latest Update it's more likely that the mysterious women is Dartenia Telis... the supposedly dead sister of the queen... whom had tried to rebel against her yet had her forces and fortress wiped out by the royal army

There is no guro or graphic violent of any kind. Even the girls in the goblin's harem are more of "consent reluctantly" rather than actual rape.
You only saw a pile of bones and the MC assumed the monsters ate her since they took her into the cave a few moments earlier
However, at the end of chapter 1, you see a hooded figure that has red hair just the same as her. In chapter 2 you can interact with a man saying that he got robbed by a redheaded, big-titted bandit.

Game has lots of potential but imo the PC is too much into the goblin cliche box. It would have been nice if he thinks a bit more about the conquest in general and how to plan ahead and not just having sex sex sex in his head. That should be a thing for a low rank soldier or a worker but not for a warlord.^^
More variation in harem women would be nice. Only humans gets boring over time and since this is a fantasy game there should be more species around that can be interacted with. I heard about fish people in town and i'm sure there will be more added later but this should be a focus to keep the game fresh.
I'm aware this is the kingdom of humans but little settlements or small towns from other races in secret locations is possible without questioning who's the current ruler in those lands.^^

apparently the City in the NW that is under quarantene is soley inhabited by those fishmen... just wondering wether we talk about mermeiads or those guys from the Legend of Zelda
