for me I managed to fix the lag by reducing the graphics and draw distance iirc

The bypass thing makes it so that anything you type in the key textbox a valid key, so just type anything and press enter

As far as I know, you have to decompress that file with a program like 7zip or winrar and put the result of having decompressed it in that same place.
This is because the format has to be in .pak not .rar, so try to unzip it first

I've specifically wrote several other times to extract the file into the game's pak folder, which you did not do. That's why the "file" is doing nothing.

That would be the GrowthLocalServer. The bypass file I make simply skips the patreon pop-up when you start the game.

Something that I just noticed recently (and I'm not sure if this only happens to me) is that using the patreon bypass file that I created seems to cause the debug mode to never appear. If this happens to you as well and you'd like to use the debug mode implemented in the game, I would suggest using the GrowthLocalServer.

New bypass file for the newest version. Extract into the game's pak folder as usual.

On the Itch.io page it says there's already a 5.9 version with a free 5.8 release, when will this be updated here?

No one has bothered to post it here yet. People just download it directly from the creator and ask for bypass here.

I'd suggest utilizing the save editor that Henk has posted in this post:

So I have updated the save editor again. You can now change the "VisualScaling" and "Modifiers" options of every character. VisualScaling are the scaling sliders for attributes (bust, muscle, fat, size, legs and ego). You can even set their values to numbers outside the normal 0..1 range.

Modifiers are used by the game to change attributes and stats (ap regen, move speed, block, companion points, etc).
They are very elaborate and I don't know what all their options are for yet, but I managed to make a couple of presets after viewing the effects of items such as food and essence. If you change their settings be sure to click update modifier, otherwise it won't save it.

You don't need to rename it anymore. Just extract the zip, place the files in your save folder and double click "editor".


Use the modifier preset +1000 size to make a NPC bigger.

Here is a brand new save file with all items and 1000 companion points (which means you can get all the followers). If you want to change some more things you can use this updated save editor, which shouldn't crash anymore.
