I somewhat regret posting just because I am contributing to these discussions that I don't see benefiting people who want to discuss the game.
About the comment about banging 40 girls then getting upset about one of those girls banging someone else, it was kind of more to make a point, not to put down anyone interests. The problem isn't wanting a VN to go a certain way, the problem is having a freak out because it doesn't.
I don't enjoy any gay content myself. I don't feel I have a right to go out and complain or down vote all the gay games just because that isn't my interest. If I ever review something, (avoided it so far on F95), I would make an effort to leave my tastes out of it, or make it more of a side note. I probably miss out on a lot of great games because it's gay focused, but that content was not made for someone like me. I did know a girl that was really into guy on guy action, so she might love games like that. (She got turned on when I was harassing her boyfriend.)
But part of my comment is also that these are stories and games. The whole purpose of a story or game is that you don't exactly know what is going to happen. The story adds to the excitement, the game adds some sort of challenges, and at least makes it seem like you earned it.
I would suggest that people open themselves up to different experiences in these games. My tastes have expanded as a result of relaxing and letting myself explore new experiences in porn and games. One game had a futa option for a character, and I saved the spot and decided to check it out, but still not me. I went way outside my comfort zone, but without that we don't grow and evolve.
Now more games are of interest to me, more types of females are attractive to me. Sure we can generally focus on our interests, but it doesn't hurt to sometimes try something else on the menu.
