Almost, but not quite. Alana makes cameo (non speaking) appearances in the Sandra route (depending on your choice), and in the Lisa route.
The best ending in my opinion (and the best route ofc). It's not rushed, the whole threats from auntie looks delightfulWhat was amusing to me was that the one route (Sandra) where I was certain that Haley would wind up pregnant, given all the hints that were given in that route, is the only route in which Haley can NOT get pregnant!
All last appearances of Diane/Alana as potenttial love interests were in episode 18. The choice concerning Haley2 was also in that one. It seems at this stage, they maybe had plans for tall these girls, but drop it in the aftermath (if I remember correctly, Ptolemy got sick not that long after).
Well, you cannot avoid Sandra, though you can put an early stop on it. Everybody else is (and always was) entirely optional.
There was another significant event that happened about the same time - Patreon stuck it's long nose into the game and the developers had to change course. I believe it was at that time that they decided they needed to finish this up as best they could. So entire plot points, as well as girls, were pruned from the game.
