It's relaxing really, if it had more characters would have been great. It was a first for me to enjoy reading and not just be there for the animation haha...
The sister's character wasn't predictable

One of the best written dialogue I've seen in a game like this. The renders are not the best I've seen, but they're good enough. It's the writing is where this game really shines. I love the relationship between the sibs, love the banter. It's a pleasure to read.

I have been looking for some good story VN for one year now and only now I hear about this gem. One of the best VN ever good story, good characters, good renderings, no major bugs and is currently good length and I'm looking forward to new content.

This is easily one of my favorite VNs right now, it is totally worth playing through the branching paths since there are really significant changes along the way.

Can't wait to see where this goes next, sort of sad that it sounds like it is coming to a close soon though

Visual side of the game speaks for itself, nothing to add here. Animations are a bit clunky but hey, nobody's perfect. The true downside for me is the way the story is driven.
Firstly, choices come here rarely (most of the time I felt like watching a kinetic novel) and secondly, they don't seem to matter much. For instance, I did almost everything to avoid relation with that black girl but no matter I chose the game put me into it anyway.
Incest themes are not my cup of tea but... I don't know, I expected at least some freedom of choice here (since it's not KN).
I think it would be best if the game allowed the character twins to play some scheme, where one would be looking and helping picking up partners for the other one. What I'm trying to say is that this game needs some extra kink cause the main incest theme is just average in my opinion.

This is an excellent visual novel. If you're at all on the fence, give it a try. I only have a few minor criticisms (which is very rare for me).

I'd have liked to see a bit more in terms of a central conflict. There's some of that in various ways such as Haley's past and their concerns about familial ties, but there could be more.

The point system is unnecessary, and it's not always clear how the story will branch based on different choices. It also takes a long time to skip through content to see other routes due to how the animations load and that a lot of content is copy-pasted between routes so it's not "seen" content as far as the engine is concerned. If you want to see all the content, be prepared for a lot of going back through the same conversations.

There are a lot of typos. The prose itself and grammar are generally very good, but it desperately needs proofreading. It's not much of a distraction, but it's such an easy issue to correct that I wonder why they haven't taken care of it when they are so close to a 1.0 version.

I really enjoy the story, the graphics. Excellent story, novel, animation. All characters are unique. Even the van is real good choice. Haley and Sandra are amazing characters. Also have action at good points. Thanks

I am notorious for finding characters that I like and don't like in games. I usually skip dialogue with the characters I don't care for. This game has nothing BUT great characters. Even side character (like his boss) feel real and organic. The progression of character development and relationships is slow and deliberate but never boring. Truly a great game. The author should write script or flesh out characters for AAA games cuz honestly they would do a better job.

Brother and sister love story means "+50 charm points" of course. But:

• The scenario is not especially interesting. Pretty boring life and the most possibly boring work.
• Most dialogs aren't soulful. For instance, when they say "wifey material" about a friend or a girlfriend... it sounds like people for them are objects, materials... And that's the general approach of all of them: people are using each other as dicks, cum dumpsters, toys etc. No real depth in any of the relationships.
• Women aren't especially pretty. Well maybe Lisa is OK, but she is a slut who fucks others rather than MC.
• Attempts of humor are mostly unsuccessful. There was only one good joke and one half-good, the rest of them were mostly bugging and nagging, IMO. Like "You definitely checked her tits", OK, repeat that 12 times and it's still nothing funny.
• Choices are rare and usually don't matter anything.
• With most girls, relationships aren't satisfying, and as a player I can't affect that. For example, I can't influence behaviors of Sarah or Lisa etc. So it's like a piece of pretty shitty life I wouldn't really interested to live or to read about.

So it's a game that is not bad per se, but not so interesting or pleasant or captivating. "Killing time" kind of entertainment.

My first 5* here. Truth be told, I didn't get off even once to this game. As far as I'm concerned, the devs could take out all the sex scenes and show the characters just cuddling, and I couldn't care less.

Haley is the most relatable and endearing character I've seen in any game here. I haven't played them all, but there's been quite a few by now. The dialogues and the story is the best point of the game, by far. Sometimes maybe even a bit too corny, but I enjoy it nonetheless. The relationship between Haley and the MC is just so cute.

The renders are good, with a honorable mention to Haley's facial expressions. The MC is quite the opposite, we barely see any expression on him. The other girls are hot, too. Specially Sandra. I loved seeing a black girl as one of the main girl choices, and she's probably the hottest of them all.

As for the sex scenes, the renders are quite scarce, and the animations are lacking at best. That's probably the reason I wouldn't mind if they weren't even there. In fact, due to Haley's trauma, some of the fetishes she seems to have assimilated, just back me out. I don't like her calling the MC "daddy", because it reminds me of that. And, to a certain extent, it seems he doesn't either, but he goes along with it.

Anyways, I'm hoping for a good finale between the two of them. They deserve to be together, regardless of who approves or disapproves their relationship.

I have been playing the Shared route and am super happy with the Art, dialogue and feel of the story. You have sad parts, happy parts. and the characters actions are believable. Haley and Sandra and just awesome and could not hope for more. Reason I am not giving 5* is for 2 reason. 1st it is not perfect. I can't give it 4.5 stars so 4 it is. 2nd :Once you get near the end of the story characters that were close just seem to disappear instead of a proper resolution to a relationship. Even though said characters are a HUGE part of the characters everyday life. Close friend and neighbor or Boss. Even a simple line of Dialogue say we can't do this anymore would have been good.

This review represents my feeling after playing Haley's Story.

- Story : Centered on Haley (of course) but it is sad how other characters are just thrown in and kinda disappear at some point...except for Sandra so far. Maybe thy are kept for future updates.
- Writing : Inconstant, like it's been done by various writers. There are some good and funny dialogs but sometimes uninspired ones as well. Way too many use of "he he" to fill some blanks (almost every 5 sentences...gets annoying), they are not necessary and show a poor writing skill or/and lack of imagination.
- MC : He's not really likeable...Despite the fact that he seems wiling to help his sister, he also seems to be apathetic and barely shows signs of joy. Eg: He got a promotion but no reaction in this matter. He's not affectionate when he meets with his girlfriend or lovers. The other protagonists seem to have more personality. Again...it's a writing issue.
- Renders : Not bad but not the best around neither, not in 2020 anyway. Some time it's so dark that almost nothing can be seen even with the brightness at max.
- Sex scenes / animations : They are ok but nothing transcendent neither. Animations are laggy and take sometime to load.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to review this game. Put simply, it's one of my all time favorites. Haley may be my favorite character in any adult game I have ever played, and Sandra is not far behind. Both are gorgeous, and I find both to be completely likeable. There are a few minor problems with grammar, etc, but to complain about those, I'd really be picking nits.
I find the writing and dialog to be excellent for the genre, to the point that, on the latest release, I had to start over and found myself rereading the scenes instead of just skipping through.
In short, if you haven't given this a try, you really should.

A story that was going slowly, with an adequate development, without big jumps, even with some romantic situation... It arrives to a moment in which the MC considers raping Haley, even seeing the image of him with his forearm in her neck. It does not have any sense, it is not logical nor it agrees with the previous behavior of anybody. Do the patreons that pay more demand it? What a lack of personality of the scriptwriter!
I'm very disappointed by that twist in the story. And the worst thing will be that if it starts like that, there will surely be more gratuitous violence... What a pity and what a shame!

I loved it. The MC is just enough understated to not be ridiculous. Haley is beautiful and funny. Every instance any sexy time was teased between them, I got hard. The renders are nothing special, but the writing really carries it.

One bit of feedback though: No one kisses with eyes open. It's fucking weird.

Solid story-focused VN. Very slow burning. I believe it took several hours to get to any real action between the MC and Haley. For some, that's great, while others want scenes much earlier in the game. I don't mind and think it works well with the storyline.

edit: I should add that referring to a pussy as "the sex" is really bizarre and dumb, but I won't take a star off for it.

This is a very good story driven VN with a slow burn. It provides you many viable options and not all revolve around the sister if that isn't your thing. The only real problem in the game is that it's borderline too slow burning. I think if the creator added another H-scene in the first third of the game it would really help it but once the action begins it does come at a gratifying pace. Highly recommend for those who enjoy story and romance in their VN's.

Now that I have finished the latest update I feel I can give an honest review of the game, I'm sorry to say I wasn't too fond of the branching paths, there are only really 2 choices & one of them being Haley sucks, I seriously dislike the character, both the look & her personality, If your aim is to get with her get ready for a LONG case of blue balls for the protagonist, she is a tease, flirts with all the other characters in the game but still you are her simp would be boyfriend.

It does suck because animation on the rest of the characters are great but you don't get to choose who you end up with really as I said there are only 2 love interests to choose from & neither are very appealing from a personal standpoint sadly.

A far better game than I expected, considering the typical Daz 3D model setup. But there's some serious care that's gone into this game, its writing, and its renders. Sometimes touching, often very funny, with relationships that feel real and lived-in. The creators of Haley's Story took the tools available to them and did what very few with the same tools are capable of: elevated them to something worthwhile.

I could not recommend this game more.

I really like this game so far, the relationships, at least for me flow very smoothlly, the only thing I don't like is that we don't get to actually have a conversation with Sandra about having either an open relationship or a polyamorous one, I don't like how things play out personally, I mean it makes sense, it works and it is awesome, but I don't like the fact that these types of conversations don't seem to happen[/Ispoier]

The game has good renders, has a very good story, awesome characters, and I love it, one of my favorites.
