That's a little disappointing. But, actually ending up with Samantha would probably ruin her life. And the realism in the game (as far as porn games go) is what I like most about it. Hopefully we bang a few times properly before deciding it's best for both of us to end things. Maybe a pregnancy scare or something.

Not having a chance to end up with Ashley sucks though. I don't need to save her or anything. In fact it would be great if she stayed the same and just started fucking you on the regular. The only thing I might change about her would be to make her really submissive in the bedroom. She's built her walls so strong it would be a huge turn on to see her let herself be vulnerable to you. I know I'm totally fucked for thinking that given her past. Plus I'm pretty sure she'd be made to be a domme or switch at best.

Hopefully the devs drag it out with What-If endings if nothing else.

Ashley...well she's definitely a slut. if she had to have sex for money because she was in need of money i would have thought somewhat different about her but she is rich AF and still decided to fuck random people to have some money. she did not do what she did for money that's for sure. For me, an ending with Samantha doesn't really need to be one of romance or sexual. Simply being closest to her than the other girls and maybe more of a friend or something would suffice.

See, to me that's just MC ends up with nobody. I wouldn't call that a proper ending to a romance/porn game. At least not for one specific character. Especially in a game where I like the characters, story, and concept so much. But, if that's how you want to play it I don't blame you. Get all the content out of it you can.

I feel as long as the MC is not literally alone its still a good ending. I wouldn't mind it if as long as relations with Samantha are good she could get a sub-ending where her and MC are still good friends even if MC ends up with Emily or even Ashley if that gets added or happens.

That's my prediction. If the only actual ending is with Emily, then Ashley and Sam will probably be slotted into either not liking/hating you (if that is a thing), just being family/roommates, and liking you as a close friend/past fuckbuddy, but that would probably have to stop if you are committed to Emily now.

I just installed episode 7, and when I go to "load" there are no saves to load.

I haven't uninstalled episode 6 yet, so I opened up the game via episode six, and the saves were all there. Episode 7 just isn't loading them.

I'd prefer to play episode 7 without having to redo everything. If anyone had any ideas, I'd certainly appreciate the help.

Both episode 6 and episode 7 have oscarsix's mod installed, in case that's relevant.

You can check if your "saves" folder of the old EP6 version (.../Halfway_House-EP6-pc/game/saves/) contains the old save files. If so, copy them into the same folder of the EP7 version (.../Halfway_House-EP7-pc/game/saves/). Then they actually should appear in the new game version, too.

I really enjoy this game. Characters are well-developed with their own different personalities. Plots are appealing and generally very reasonable. Thanks for making this great game. Can't wait for more.
