I can't really see how a few found the MC especially obnoxious in this update compared to earlier episodes. I've developed an irritating facial tic when it comes to most protagonists inner dialogues in "adult" VNs but its not acting up to badly in this one.

I also find it kinda amusing how some people get hang ups on what happens to the protagonist and other characters AFTER the events of the focus of the VN. I mean... if you enjoy the character in the VN so far why care so much about what happens when the story is over? Of course I do understand that people might not get to invested if things turn nasty towards the end of the VNs story.

Nice Update, I'm enjoying the game quite a bit.

The MC is a bit douchy, but then again, there is a lot of Douche MCs on these type of games. On the douchy scale, he could have been a lot worse. Not my favourite character, but I can still live with him.
Typical horny teen, brash, boasting, trash talking guy. Not my cup of tea, but I can live with him. Far from completely unlikable.

Graphics are very good. Looking forward to the next update

From a story perspective all of them have their reasons why they act like assholes. I think the lighthearted tone of it helps not to make them too annoying. IMO it's better for the protag to be a douche than the standard blank avatar we see more often than not.

If I had to guess, the dev probably just wants to keep it somewhat linear for a first game/VN....and is limited in what he can produce with the available hardware and time. There's plenty of VN spaghetti on this site that doesnt get completed due to trying to make harems everywhere.

The thing is though, you can make a game that is basically linear with more than one LI. Just do the main branching near the end like Freeloading Family and The Visit are doing.

You don't need some complex branching game to accommodate multiple LI's.

hmmm..reading past couple pages..i believe the MC's past number of years have been lost on what has created his personality..he has been in juvie alot..prolly surrounded constantly by nasty peeps..his mannerisms and such would surly be affected by that..generally speaking..he's a good guy..but he hasnt learned about filters..as there are none in the "system" so he spouts nonsense alot because thats all he knows..i personally think the characters are extremely well written..although milfy babe may be a BIT oversexed..LOL...Emily is one of the best written dames i've seen yet..as she is much like a gal i dated in High School who was snappy and defensive and flustered and out of her element all the time..almost makes me think the dev is a confused teenage girl..LOL because nailed it!

He kinda put some of us off supporting when he said there is only 1 real love interest.

You can have sex with the others but only the young girl will be the love interest the rest are side fucks even the other 2 main girls.

Doesn't matter how good a game is, when something is that limited and the only girl you can end up with isn't the best one then it kills all motivation to throw money at it. It's only really Emily fans that get the most from it.

That and this episode turned a tolerable MC into a full on douche.

I'm by no means saying he doesn't deserve support just saying why some people don't.

When it first launched it looked like it could have grown quite quickly but then we got hit with the "Emily is the only LI" thing and it seemed to put some people off.

Yeah revealing ending spoilers like that in the begining kinda killed my mood with the game specially since i had no interest in Emily. She is really great specially in the last update just not for me.
But i suppose i should congratulate the dev for not fooling people along with a fake promise.

Hmm? What are you talking about? It has been some weeks since i last posted here.

I can respect the dev revealing there's only one love interest so early in development. He wants to tell his story and he was well aware it might piss some people off, but he was honest about it. He's not looking to string people along before pulling a fast one on them.

What I can't respect is forcing the protagonist to watch porn with his bro in the latest update. That shit was gay as fuck.

Nottravis is making her game on an old crappy system and with limited time due to a full time job.

I've seen what people can do with limited time and hardware so that excuse doesn't wash with me at all. Nor do I support people based on something they could do if they had more resources. If what they have out now isn't grabbing me it's not grabbing my money.

This is an okay game that could have potentially been huge however the dev has made his design choice now it's on him to try and bring in support based on what he can do.

It's not just the limited LI's that are the issue though, the MC seems to have also started putting people off.

This is a tough industry and very few devs ever make it big. Most will pull enough in to make it worth developing but most will struggle to get a foothold.

With so many great devs and games already out it's going to be hard to pull people in.

Having more options for multiple love interests (or a harem) would have been nice. It's what I'm going for with the game/story I'm in the process of writing. But at least Emily being the "only love interest" was said from the start. Az didn't pull a Mass Effect 3 on us where we expected everything we ever did to matter but to make the ending the same no matter what.

Illusion of choice is a thing in 99% of video games but when we know the illusions are just dialogue-based ahead of time, it's a pill that's a lot easier to swallow, imo.

Perhaps. The guy spent time in juvie and has notably "underdeveloped" social skills across the board....especially with women. Maybe that is part of the character development throughout the story? I dunno....we will see.

I've had my fair share of MC rants. There is a trope of them (Where's Burt!!! haha)....from pervy dad/father figure...to serial sleep rapist....to beta pussy beeotch.....to spoiled rotten son. Take your pick.

Been feeling off all day with this damn ear infection but I did play this since this update was at the top of my expectations list. Very good update. Everyone gets a little time to shine, even Luis who is quickly, quickly becoming my favorite male character in an adult game. And I see my fellow shinobi is also a man of culture as well. He gets the Hokage stamp of approval in my bingo book! Homie for real built like the Raikage and just as fast! I usually skip male content in adult games cause the male characters don't interest me enough to sit through a conversation with them. Only very select games do I sit through and enjoy male conversations. Luis is a part of that group now for sure.

Samantha was always hot to me but probably my least favorite because I'm on the younger side. Now, she's still below Ashley and Emily for me, but I'll be damned if she wasn't absolutely gorgeous.

I'm so glad Ashley is getting more depth as well. She's my favorite by only a very slight margin. I'm not a fan of rough sex, but somehow I loved what you could do with her here and her reactions had my dick feeling like a brick. More, please!

Emily is 1b for me, Ashley being 1a. I love female characters that have a fight in them, but I also really love a real wholesome girl as well. Emily checks both of these for me. And she shines again here by being the best of both worlds. So wholesome and so feisty at the same time. The only reason she's not 1a is that I value the banter with Ashley just a little bit more. And she's a bit sexier too.

As for the MC. Well, he's talkative. I'd go as far as douche as Avaron1974 said. I should probably have an issue with it because I'm the complete opposite IRL. People have to fight like hell to get me to utter a word the whole day. I don't have an issue with him cause most of the people close to me love to talk your ear off. It annoys me but I'm accustomed to it at this point. So the MC is the same for me. Though every word that comes out of his mouth is some flirty shit. So Az can stand to dial that back a tad bit. He doesn't have to open his mouth after every female sentence.
